I have been really enjoying playing this mod. Always keeping my eye out for others as well. I put Arma 3 down for a few years but glad I came back to it with this
This is a very nice series; the way you play, down to how you aim and control your AI is extremely similar to the way *I* play so these videos are very relatable and are serving as a sort of guide for my own Antistasi campaign, keep it up
In the many years of playing the different version of Antistasi, the outposts have always been the hardest battles. Keep continuing this series and I am playing the same version at the same time!
@@d1g1t315 yeah no wonder, it's really flat line of land, with even more flat land around it, no town you can put most of yours forces to, unlike on Tanoa where 3 out of 4 airports are a stone throw away from town
Haha I have done this once before, I was quickly met with an AT rocket in the behind 😅 so I find it best to try clear the area now. Doesn’t help it was so close to that NATO outpost, it was like kicking a hornets nest 🤣
That battle at the beginning. Ouch. If your AI were trained up to level 15-20 that might have went better. At the beginning they're dumber than a sack of hammers.
Yeah I did invest some funds in to training after that abomination 😅 Tbf I was not expecting a whole platoon of NATO protecting that ammo truck when I rocked up, also didn’t help I kicked the hornets nest and had the outpost come down on me as well 🤣
Btw thank you for explaining how you command AI, I never bothered to look it up. Now I just need to figure how to command those bought teams. Was not really good use to throw few guys in a HMG land rover and command them to outpost after I used mortar on it, there were tons of enemies and they just got yeeted. lol.
@@theurbanhermit365Depends on parameters, my current run is/was a test what happens with lower enemy resources. They don't care that much about anything, unlike with high resources they threw a ton of shit at you.
I have a few questions (for anyone really), do the troops automatically arm themselves with the unlocked guns/gear you acquire? I see you calling in the heli drops for supplies or something, how did you do that? Also I learned about the combat mode from ya, gonna try that out tonight, I usually use (3-5) for fire at will and that usually is good enough but I'll see how your tip pans out.
Troops will spawn in with whatever weapons they have at default, once you unlock weapons/gear you can give them these by customising the load outs. The supply drop has basic stuff like ammo/medical things so not really worth it unless you’re actually desperate for things. You can call in support by pressing tab and then going along, on of the sections has things like airdrop, bombing runs etc. I’ll be covering this in the next tips video this weekend 🙂
@@theurbanhermit365 awesome, thanks for the tips sir, been watching this series a lot lately. I have been playing "Antistasi: the mod" and noticed you're playing Antistasi: Ultimate (two different mods but close enough to learn tips from you!) Great series btw, going to turn a few ppl onto it myself, 😎🤙
Antistasi is just incredible. I keep coming back to it even after 1700 hours of it! Thank for the video!

Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series so far. Next one on Monday 🙂

Yeah they really are, I found the airfield easier on another save I was running haha.
Thanks, I’m glad you’re enjoying the series 🙂
@theurbanhermit365 the airfield can be brutal too, the ones on Altis were the worse for me

I would have just say fuck it, get in the ammo truck and drive home lol

@kettujabamiesukkeliukko hahaha have to weigh up the loss and gain I suppose 😆
Was looking for some antistasi to watch when I'm not playing mine, love it❤❤
I’m glad you’ve found the channel haha. Hope you enjoy the series 🙂

I'm unclear as to what the training even does for them haha better aiming or something?

no joke you're one of my favorite youtubers

Yeah I stay away from
Mortars, that’ll have the whole nato force come down on top of you haha 😆

That was a good ammo raid. Much needed after how rough last episode went.
Indeed it was, got some decent weapons for the troops now as well 🙂

You unlock helmet mate
Ah did I? I must’ve missed it haha. I’ll make sure the troops have them next episode 🙂
