- Today we continue on the revolution. We need to start gaining some better equipment to get our guys geared up for the rest of the war. So some ammo trucks and some more man power would really help.

Hey man. Load up the van, jump in it and fast travel back to base. Saves having to navigate those tough areas and risk tipping the vehicle 👍🏽

I started sniping on my game, and boy do I like that .408. Except when view distance gets so bad at >600m that enemies clip to the ground when they go prone lul. Didn't see one guy, ran to resource and he got me.
Always more difficult fighting uphill, I did run around and try get some on my side but most of them told me to do one 😅🤣
Yeah I’ll be using the .408 again when I try to take the airfield, need to get a decent spot so I can support the squads as they push it. Didn’t go too well last time 😅
i am so invested in this series haha have never played ARMA but have the game and have watched content for years, this has made me now want to give it a go and start with this to learn everything!!!
Go for it, you won’t be disappointed, such a great game with endless possibilities, considering the modding community has a whole host of mods to choose from other than Antisatsi, even with Eden editor you can make your own scenarios if you really wanted too 🙂
It's the best way to learn the game I bought a pc for arma 3 at the beginning of the year Nd am not disappointed everything iv wanted from a FPS Nd more way more

If you press N while using the UAV you can change to night vision, and thermal.

I don't know if other people play this way, but Supply missions are probably the best way to get HR and take over the map. 99% of the missions I do are Supply/Support. At a minimum you should start and end each session with a Supply mission. I find it's a nice way to cool down after the crazier/bigger attacks. They're also a lot of fun sometimes....roll into a town, take out the police, drop the crate, hand pick defensive positions for every member of your squad one by one and then wait for the enemy to attack.
Even if Petros gives you a town you already control, it still helps you out - it increases the % support which in turn gives you more HR coming from that town.
POW rescues are often suicidal and you only get a one time shot of HR. Taking over the towns on the map gives you that steady stream of boots and money.

I hate that base in the ancient ruins. I'm never able to get my AI to follow me up there. I'm wondering how you're going to get the AI prisoners you rescue out of there! :)
Well it all went well, prisoners secured, ammo truck secured. Plenty of loot taken also haha. Towns are small time, taking the larger base/outpost helps sway them to your side also. Why I’m going for the island in the south as once I have those last 2 positions all those towns are easy pickings haha 😝
@@theurbanhermit365 I can't believe you got a vehicle up there! I can't believe the AI Hostages were smart enough to get out of that jungle/cliff nightmare of a base! I didn't know you were going for the full base takeover when I wrote that comment.
Yeah, doing support missions is a bit of a slower game and the fights are smaller. I kind of feel that Antistasi shines in the early game and becomes less fun when you have to start using more and more high command. So I guess it's my attempt to keep the game in that zone that I find most fun.
But also....I started playing on Tanoa after you had released 3 videos and I'm at War Level 6 with 200000+$ and over 2000 HR...so maybe it's not such a slow way to play after all. :)
@peterkossits4794 I’ve done it before, I knew I could but yeah was a pain trying to remember where the entrance was haha. Just order them to move off and they’ll go haha. Same as your squad, can be a bit of a pain but they’ll eventually get in those ruins haha.
LoL when i feel i need money (and i captured some towns), i do a "dirty trick" that I keep doing the Supply mission, then save and quit. Ofc that wasn't serious run :D
@@dmknght8946 Kerbo lets his server run overnight without playing to build up lots of cash. Bunch of cheaters! I don't know guys...I absolutely love the early game where you can maybe only afford to take one little AI guy with you and can't buy any vehicles so you have to steal everything to save money. Best part of the game - every success/death counts. I'm getting so much money and HR now there's no risk of losing anymore at all. I love Antistasi, but default settings are really badly balanced for solo play. Tanoa is one of the worst - things ramped up way too quickly. I'm playing the Community version though rather than Plus. The original Barbolani version was absolutely brutal back when i tried it. Anyone remember that one? You'd have to skip 16 hours for the darkness at night, and then there would be like thick heavy fog for 5 hours every morning. You'd only have like 3 hours every day where you could see more than 25m in front of you.
Might I ask what mods you're using, I'd like to sort of play along. I've been binging this series, keep up the good work!

Had such a hard time to take the same outpost last weekend, the AI was somehow unable to enter the temple ruins and lost all of time to micro manage them.
Yeah they can get a bit stuck traversing in to the place, took me 5-6 orders for them to move in to it but they got there eventually.
I love this Antistasi run so far! Do you have Ace medical activated? My Ai doesn't seem to care to drag and revive me, and I think it could be ACE overwriting the Antistasi script.
yeah the only mods I'm running are Antistasi ultimate and CBA_A3
You might need some anti infantry vehicles and or technicals before going up against an airbase. They usually have some type of armor or apc close by.
Yeah last episode i tried to take these out beforehand, I didn’t take in to account the 50 calls they have on those towers. A better position for me to snipe from and some more squads should do the trick haha
Wanted to ask, why is it when the enemy surrenders it seems like you always release them and never recruit them?
I usually ask for info and to recruit. If they refuse they’ll run off
LoL so I downloaded Arma 3 to play Antistasi because of your vids. I was like "yayy let chill". And then you know what? There was no checkpoint for me to do my trick. Supply mission (which supposed to be easiest) had QRF that has Light APC to kill my only-SMG-squad LoL. I raged quit because of that (I didn't mean to play seriously in a tactical way). Look like i didn't disable some options in menu, or something was changed to improve gameplay.
Yeah I’ve had APC’s turn up when I’ve collected airdrops before, I just try get out of there as quick as possible haha. I know they added in withstand feature a couple weeks back so maybe they changed a couple of other things but I’ve kept all the settings as they were when I started. I have noticed when using vehicles that have weapons on, they can sometimes send something that matches or overpowers it.
I used a 50 cal on a car once, they sent an apc 🤣
You got to get out of there quick when you're just starting off. When you get the success message for the Supply/Support mission, don't stick around to loot for 15 minutes - get ready to run.
For early game, just steal a few useful vehicles (you want pickups and trucks and land rovers) and ambush policemen without selecting any mission to get their vests unlocked. That gives you more time to loot. Most towns have 4 policemen in them. You might get a QRF but the reaction is probably going to be a lot slower than it is on a Supply/Support mission.
Supply mission with ammo trucks I don’t get responses, usually a squad or two guarding them. The airdrops are where the apcs and such turn up for me.
Guerrilla warfare is all about being quick, hit and run that’s the aim of it.
@@peterkossits4794 Yeah actually i ordered my troops to retreat successfully. But then i decided to come back to see enemy's squad. I got surprised because
1. I didn't expect seeing enemy's QRF
2. QRF was really really slow
3. The QRF was really easy to fight. Maybe it was balanced by antistasi ultimate's author
I managed to wipe out enemy squad (2 of them surrendered). But the Light APC was a pain in the arse: it has a remote .50 cal machine gun. I though it must have a gunner on the top so I sprayed at the machine gun LOL (I blame my 15inc laptop's monitor for that. I couldn't see it so clear). I got wrecked, respawned, then I picked up a M72 and shot the APC. For some reason, the explosion took me down. I managed to heal myself then picked up M4 with the M203. I shot the APC again, forgetting I was using a fking HE round LMAO. Then I got down again. That was my rage quit moment LoL.
@@theurbanhermit365I feel like Antistasi Ultimate's author decreased the level of enemy troop. It was easier (and more fun) to play :D
