I have a question: if my camera gets damaged (motor, lens) but the flex cable is still good, how can I change just the camera and solder it to the original flex cable? I tried transferring a camera from one phone to another, but I got an unknown camera error. However, I saw somewhere that generic cameras are sold. Would those work? Thank you for your time.

I’ve seen it happen when the solder joints aren’t perfect, not properly cleaned or if it was overheated during the process.

Hey man great video and you even opened up the actual lense but i got curious enough to ask you that what if we can switch up lenses of a phone into another phone? For ex. An 200 megapixels S23 Ultra into an iPhone or any other Android phone if the lense can fit into the hole? Ik the software won't act as if it knows that the lense is 200mp so it will take a 200mp photos/videos or it will straight up won't support the lense, etc. but still worth a try right?? Please do reply or make video if this topic is video worthy enough, I'm eager to know anyway.
That would be cool. The main thing is that the solder joints would need to line up and serve the same function as they are for more than just to anchor the lens to the camera. I’ll look into it though.
