Zadostojnik/Megalynarion of Mid-Pentecost

On the eve of Mid-Pentecost (May 12, 2009), Orthodox Christians from the Mon Valley gathered at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese/ACROD) in Jacobs Creek, PA to celebrate the Paschal feast with a Vesperal Divine Liturgy. In this video, the special festal hymn to the Mother of God--the zadostojnik or megalynarion--is sung according to the traditional Carpatho-Rusyn irmologion melody as given in Boksaj's "Prostopinije."
