Terraria calamity mode be like:
Step 1- cut down a tree
Step 999- defeat gods
Is this on expert mode or normal mode because of the loot bags??
@@Jackson-re6jf Expert mode. It isn't on Revengeance mode though as there are no Revengeance drops.

The way he makes summoner armor then uses weapons from other classes, reducing the damage of his summons and making the other weapons less effective, it just makes me feel afdjiuafjdjslafdsjaf

I played calamity a long time ago (didn't even finish it) and from just watching 3 minutes of your video i really want to start playing it again thank you for making this
If you are overwhelmed by how much crap there is, here is some help: The mod has a lot yes, but you can pull up the starter guide on the wiki to see exactly what stuff you need to get next and how to make it. Also you can bind recipie browser to look up what items do and then if you add the boss checklist mod it helps too. Finally, if you need to you can look at boss summons. I really recommend calamity as it makes early/mid game better with all of the new stuff, and all of post moonlord is AWESOME because all of it is modded. I would definitely recommend this mod to you. Hopefully you play it because of these tips.

I played through death mode 5 times. I never farmed them just killed DS right away. Am i the only one ?

i killed it tanking all the dmg with victide armour/def acessories and arkhalis making insane dps,the fight take 25 sec max,in revengeance mode

this is actually so perfect my friends and I played through with thorium and spirit and we just started a play through with calamity. The timing could not be better

I play themod on Reveangence mode but it's impossible for me to progress in Hardmode because the developers always buff some of the bosses and nerfs some of the weapons IN EVERY SINGLE UPDATE!!!!!

This is my first time seeing Calamity and it seems a whole lot tougher than Thorium.

Oh you have no idea. I gave up on revengance d.o.g. shits insane
If you try the mod out, make sure to have tried out expert mode (its better to play Calamity in Expert, 'cause its better that way and the bosses' treasure bags will be more rewarding) and to some basic knowledge about some of the new areas in the mod before heading in and downloading it. Also, before fighting a boss you still dont know or partially know about, I suggest you research on how to properly be prepared for the bosses BEFORE fighting them. Seriously, it helps a TON.

watching this in 2023 and seeing how different the mod is now vs then is kinda cool
Is it just me or is my abyss completely blocked after level 1? I was only able to get to 3 chests and then I couldn't go any farther.
How the hell did you handle depths so well
I got eels suddenly appearing behind me like "omae wa mou shindeiru" and then I go no further

no offense but all you need is a gills potion, flipper potion, siren's heart or neptune's shell. also if you open the shadow chests and get the iron boots, depths charm or plates it becomes much easier
@@tonygao3685 even then that feels insufficient, a bug i found was that a few thorium underwater breathing items break the abyss and allow infinite breath. not sure if it was patched yet, but its a good tip for people who doesnt love the "Pressure"

I got all the way to supreme calamities on this mod whilst on revengence mode and expert and I gave up cause I didnt want to grind out Tesla armor. Rip 120 hours of my life
Huh? I play on normal, have auric tesla armor, exoblade and murasama.
And I still cant beat because I have very small monitor that on 100 percent zoom makes moon lord cover 70 percent of my screen 😢
And good luck dodging bullet hell phases with this...

You could have at least played on Rev Mode rather than just Expert and actually experience the mod for what it's worth instead of being cheesy.

This has made me realize how much of pre Hardmode I skipped
If you want the mod, theres a game called tModLoader on Steam, If you download it, you Will be able to get ANY mod you want on your OWN worlds. Without having ANY trouble or anything, just get it, it came out When journeys end released yesterday.
Also, even though i haven't seen it mentioned, but do remember that in Calamity, Minion damage is heavily nerfed if you're not holding a summon damaging weapon. it's a 50% damage nerf, which can be bad if you dont have some minions that are also utility based, like the Belladonna sprites with their poison.

um it really is, adds a ton of unique stuff that makes the game even more fun
I love how there are so many summoner weapons pre-hardmode compared to vanilla terraria
i havent done many runs of calamity but this is the strangest ive seen it done
In calamity summoning is different. If you have summons out and use other weapons your summon damage gets reduced. The summoner is it’s own class now, not some cross between a ranger.
You forgot an important one:
Deciding to play on revengeance or death or stick to current difficulty

You forgot the crucial part named “Think you’re Leviathan and attempt a fucking Death Defiled Armageddon Pure Mage run please someone help me I’ve been stuck on Eye of Cthulhu for months”
I figured out that using the Waywasher weapon from Amidas is super effective against Crabulon, and kills him within seconds
