How come whoever did the narrative for pgstats can't just make a new channel and carry on, is it a breach of contract or they don't see no point cos they're not being paid no more? I don't anything at all and everything I just said are thoughts in my head. I like the pgstats channel the most when it comes to coverage of tournaments finished/upcoming.

I had no intentions of watching Collision last weekend; didn’t even know it was happening, but I stumbled upon it on Sunday and SkyJay kept me hooked until the end. Was crazy and totally worth watching live.

Sort of. I remember this. He didn’t say he thought he would lose exactly. He for sure said that against specific low tier characters like Mac you can’t zone out in your head and autopilot like they are easy to beat. Or else a character like that can gimmick you because your not paying attention or beat you in the one area they are overturned with fundies. He basically said it’s free but it’s a mental thing. Basically he was saying, Don’t auto pilot just because it’s a low tier…..and especially against a player like peanut.
I think it sucks how characters affect people's opinions of players. Onin, Sonix, Riddles, I've heard so many rude things about them that totally shouldn't be allowed. Onin playd Steve, yes, but he's an insanely creative (and genuinely good) player. He probably wouldn't be without steve, but i only think that because we haven't seen him without Steve, so i assume he just wouldn't play or be interested in the game. I think him playing Steve is awesome, he's so much fun to watch, and I especially love how he's a memehead. A lot of people hate the timeout style that players like Sonix use, but like, idk, I think the character is really strong, a little broken, even, but I don't think there's anything wrong with how he plays. I like seeing his tricky movement, and it takes more skill than people realize to time someone out, whether it's because you're great at hit-and-run, or you're good enough to scare your opponent into not approaching, both of which Sonix utilizes from the matches I've seen, and he's a wonderful player. And Riddles... He did have a spike in results after picking up Kazuya, but I don't think he's particularly carried by him. He's an exceptional player, and i personally prefer watching him play Terry, but it doesn't stop the fact that his decision-making is some of the best sometimes, from a spectator and competitor's pov. He has some CLUTCH plays, but his movement and execution are pretty frickin good too, and I think Kazuya's explosiveness definitely helps, but he's not carried. Maybe if he'd stuck with Terry he wouldn't get amazing results, or maybe if he'd stuck with Terry he'd be the world's best Terry, and everyone would be way less prone to call him a fraud. But it doesn't matter because he's still a great player.

Man i was talking to my brother last weekend. We were saying how this tournament was basically The Civil War of Ultimate. So many upsets and whoever you thought was going to make top 8, half of em didn’t even make it. Such an amazing and insane tournament

I actually went King K Rool my first few tournaments right when the game came out. collision was pretty insane but there also is a bit of a weird aftertaste. if riddles wouldve played against sparg0 light or tweek he probably wouldve lost. if skyjay went up against leo tweek or light he couldve lost earlier too. collision could only go the way it did because each of the top players ran into one of the few players they couldnt overcome.

Being #1 doesn’t mean you don’t lose to anyone, it means that over a defined period, you were more consistent and less likely to get upset. Thats what Leo does. Just because you have a good matchup vs Leo’s character pool, doesn’t mean you’re suddenly better than Leo. Tweek couldn’t even make a top 8 just 7 -10 majors ago. He was struggling. The thing with Leo is that he ‘fails’ in a tourney, then literally wins the next big one. He has won wayyyyy more titles than any of them, but their ego suddenly makes them better. F off.
