Mute has been so good at just talking on his RUclips, so glad to see him on a podcast I know marss said a podcast with mute and pink would be great cause pink would just instigate so I'd love to see him again
There have been very extensive studies done on mental visualization and how it can supplement (not replace) actual practice for anything. There are caveats like realism but repitition is central to both forms of training. I listened to a 3hr podcast by Dr. Huberman on the subject which I think people might enjoy. Its called "Science-Based Mental Training and Visualization for Improved Learning"
I really like the analysis of the difference between Mexico and Japan’s playstyles in this episode. The idea that Japan thinks of winning in smash by playing optimally while Mexico thinks of winning by directly outplaying and punishing their opponent is really insightful and makes a lot of sense when thinking about how the different regions play. It’s the difference between I want to play in the best way possible and I want to outplay you specifically
Muteace and Tweek are the bromance I didn't know I needed. In all seriousness, great episode! It's cool to hear the unique insights from different top players. Mute certainly has a lot of great insights, and entertaining delivery.
Wavedash reminded me a question I always had as to why Leo ever stopped playing Corrin cause he is so good lmao. Also love to see Muteace on the show, one of my favourite players atm, love listening to this guy
@@Spyder-MarthTbf, before that Leo had literally NEVER lost to Maister in tournament. Over like 20 sets. He is supremely confident in that player mu. It wasn’t that he lost to GnW with a sword character; it was that he lost to Maister *at all* (usually he beats Maister with any char). So I can see how that would be a blow to how good Corrin is in his eyes.
Have mute back on please. Seeing him and charles be the strongest minds in the game, as well as Tweek and him bonding is endearing. Also spitting mad facts about steve. People have been chalking the matchup up to "just rush him down", but the steves have evolved past that. Great to see him.
While it's true that nobody is as consistent as MkLeo was pre-quarantine, あcola does make grands almost every time. In the last six months, his lowest placements have been 7th at Genesis 9 and 3rd at Maesuma TOP 11. Sparg0's lowest placements in the same time frame have been 5th at Genesis 9, 3rd at Collision 2023, 13th at Summit 6, and 9th at Crown the Third. Sparg0 has better wins than あcola, but he also has worse losses.
I hear term like “spacies” a lot for certain characters, what does that mean?? Like a “zoner” makes sense since they mainly used ranged combat in their toolkit to fight.
Y’all should do an updated Neutral episode. It’s been a few years and the game and overall meta has obviously seen a lot of change. Maybe bring on someone like Sonix or Sisqui, who play very reserved compared to most people. I think that would make for a really interesting conversation.
I'm so glad these guys talked about Corrin. Such an underrated character. I'm still surprised people think she is low mid tier even after runs made by Neo, Shadic, and of course Leo. Anyhow, I am very happy to see MuteAce in this podcast! I love this dude.
I always thought that MKLeo only picked up Corrin because they are the best Sword Fighter that does well vs Min Min. After losing to Proto in Double Down as Corrin, I realized that he just dropped the character & never cared about them again. Its nice to see him play them again.
Muteace NEEDS to be in the development of Smash Bros Infinite he's gonna make the game perfectly balanced or in any case it's completely okay for some characters to be better than others but his technical knowledge of the game is so great he will find a way to make every characters strengths truly stand out to the point of making them viable in tournament
Corrin's air moves were not double damage buffed, they got like a 1% buff in damage. Mute grossly overrated her buffs, that's why you don't remember these buffs Tweek. And her up special was buffed during 4.0 which was very early on in the meta, and people were saying she was horrible waaaay past that patch.
20:15 I wish Charles would realize the sick irony of him saying this when he's talking about this specific tournament and tournament series. Also kinda weird he just called players by their sponsor since he can't read their actual names.
Imagine being a Steve player watching this and seeing these popular and beloved top players constantly imply that everyone is always making fun of you behind your back and don't respect you as a player when you're not listening 😂😂😂
Great episode, ruff ruff
when the Tweek talks and Lights out collab?
I could honestly listen to mute chatting about smash for hours
🧢 not even 1 minute

Describing duck hunt icies and belmonts as “something sinister” is so funny😂 mute is high key hilarious

Love having Mute on, his personality is great. He fits right in imo
A perfect fit 🤤😅
I wouldn't mind if he replaced haz lol ( but keep pink in )

mute is IMPOSSIBLE to dislike
Mute is such a good guest for the show. Great vibes this episode. Would love to see again
10:39 EE with the revenge 👏
I see muteace I give a like, is that simple
also lets not forget cosmos was the first person to ever destroy sonix with corrin or even pikachu
The best possible guest has arrived

I don't see nakat on screen
I could literally $&@% right now

new tweek talks is far more hype than the nintendo direct

Muteace is legit so funny.
Nice to know the Seph will continue until morale improves
Tweek Talks but MuteAce Monologues?!?!?!?!?!

One of the best episodes.. I can’t stop smiling whenever Mute is talking lol. And yes, watching his Peach feels like pure magic when he is on fire.
Having Mute on was great! One of my favorite guests so far. Love listening to Mute talk about the game! I always learn something new.
Muteace has such an insane level of insight on the game and he's great at communicating his points. Would love to see.him on the show more!
I feel like MuteAce plays the way Tweek thinks he does
Hmm elaborate
no way Charles just called a player by his Sponsor 19:53 💀
Mute is so funny without even trying lol, great episode!
Yeah he's a comedian 😂, dude had me rolling.
All my homies love muteace 🍑
So I shouldn't drop the Duck Hunt, just to keep the terror alive? Got it!
Muteace and Tweek are the bromance I didn't know I needed. In all seriousness, great episode! It's cool to hear the unique insights from different top players. Mute certainly has a lot of great insights, and entertaining delivery.
Glutonny decide a easier way to live putting the responsibility on himself, that way things became easier.
mute is so fucking funny oh my god, Great episode.
funfact: Corrin's pre-patch recovery was on par with Doctor Mario's for some reason 🙃
WHAT THE HECK?!?!
I'm so glad I played them after they got buffed lol.
Wavedash reminded me a question I always had as to why Leo ever stopped playing Corrin cause he is so good lmao. Also love to see Muteace on the show, one of my favourite players atm, love listening to this guy
Because Corrin is very match up heavy.
Game & watch is so bullshit that he can make Corrin not exist
Just because of one loss to Maister...
Bruh. At least she's back.
@@Spyder-Marththe tourney I am pretty sure was called Collosel but I hope Wavedash gives him more confidence to use it more

Damn you forgot to mention at the WINNER tournament that protobanham lost his first round to MoZes TG( Banjo main) #Banjomainsrise
Wow missed that! Wonder how he will do at Maesuma Top 13 this weekend… Was excited to see him enter!
Sorry i mean excited about banham. Banjos doing well is cool I guess too lol

One of those things I didn't know I wanted until it happened
The most criminal thing about Sonic is that he can air dodge after up b.
He's not the only character that can do that but I guess you mean it's criminal specifically on him right?
@@dripfoe_3307he and gnw both don't deserve that option
@@greedo194 I'm not sure why it's a option to begin with.
This is a great analytical episode, never heard tweek or charles say they didnt know something
I hear term like “spacies” a lot for certain characters, what does that mean??

Spacies (space animals) is what the community calls the Star Fox characters
I love Muteace so much
I wish this episode was twice as long

Basically muteace is saying that mexicos got that smash factor
Mute is built for this type of content and I'm not sure he even knows it 😂
You love to see it
"Well I do" is crazy
A surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one
Mute fits in great with the pod
Was hoping Capitancito shiting on Wrath and Sonix would get brought up. He made Sonic look like he loses the Mii Gunner matchup.
amazing episode as always, one of the best guests the peach king!

Muteace easily the most entertaining person to listen to in smash

Mutes thoughts on Mexican and Japanese play were super interesting
41:05 Wario's hardest MU is definitely Olimar in my opinion, and Sonic is 2nd
