It's funny to see a top european woman making basic errors against basically a junk rubber player. Samara missed many balls because she didn't read the returning ball well. And she rushed her shots, wanting to rip the ball. So Zhou can let Samara rip a few winners but basically beat herself. It's a shame Zhou's style didn't work too well in China, she played super league decently (recall she beat a top chopper easily), but once the top women were used to her style, she had no chance.
If a lot more players use pips, then they can no chance to beat inverted rubbers. It's just a matter of getting used to it. They don't really win by technique and it's just not fair.
@@spaceinvader384 , in China playing against pips is part of their training. Professionals have good stroke mechanics and when they know what's on the ball, they are very consistent. Also pips cannot generate significant spin by themselves. So pips players are vulnerable to the best players. At the amateur level pips works really well because most players have poor mechanics and don't adjust timing etc. well. So I find it quite fair.

She has very unique style. I think many players will have headache because of her as many chinese players did. She was in the China national team.

Zhou XingTong used Long Pips (Red side) mainly FH, BH is RPB shortpips(or inverted)
She was not the first using this style. 30 hear ago 陳子荷 use same style. I'm too, my current usatt rate is 2300+

What about zhu yuling the top 5 in the world today, she beat her and almost beat li xiaoxia.
