This is the reason I use a 4.7” iPhone instead of the big ones. I use my phone for texting and responding to other types of messages and doing urgent things when I have no other devices around. It’s small, fits well in my pocket, and kind of discourages heavy use. I use an iPad or laptop for media consumption.
An 800 mah battery.... God damn that's awful.
It doesn't have a headphone jack?
Nicholas Jeremy no one cares
Soviet Ninja I care, because the guy said you could listen to music on the tiny midget phone. 2:25
I will care if I buy one used in 5 years to play music in my car. My guess is these things will depreciate like crazy being locked to verizon.
This would be a great idea if it was cheaper and less feature packed. I mean, the only reason for this would be to be your "thieves phone". Leave your big, expensive phone home when going out walking and take your tiny with basic features phones for calls and maybe check emails sometimes etc. But it has too many things in. Even 3gb of ram is too much for this purpose.
He said it was low spec but I consider 3gb ram pretty generous for a phone. It's definitely a premium item not a phone for slumming it. If you want a throwaway phone, my full-size ZTE zmax is only $60 new.
Yeah I don't know why people say that a 3 GB of RAM phone (meant to be used for basic tasks) is low on specs. Having said that I use an iPhone 5 as a secondary phone and besides not being able to use the same number for calls it does the job for everything else and I barely notice it on my pocket when I walk.
It's 3.3"! The Galaxy pocket was 2.8" and I never thought it was small back then
My last palm phone was a treo 650 back in 2004/5 so thanks for remind me those great palm phones and pdas , great times
I want one! So tired of phones getting bigger and bigger and harder to hold.
I wish they sold it as a standalone for smaller people.
They're called little people! :D
@ 😂 👏 👏
Yet this isn’t a phone and will only work if you already have a regular smartphone.
liquid79 said no person ever
is there any competitor to this phone? im kinda interested in this form factor
Fan Yun it’s not a phone
Apple Watch with cellular and gps
Tbh I would gladly use something like this as my only phone.
I honestly would love this for work. I work in construction and even the beefiest phone cases with a tempered glass couldn't save my note 9 screen from getting cracked, this would be a great alternative so I can still listen to my music while having a smaller form factor to carry while on the jobsite
I think this thing is great! That "Life" feature would literally work perfectly for my needs. If I wanna go biking or snowboarding I'm not gonna hear my phone go off while I'm concentrated on not crashing; may as well have my phone be "off" and not risk breaking a $1000 device. I want one
Try not to sound so excited, Dieter
*Does this phone require another phone???*
❓❓❓❓❔❔❔❔
Yeah, but just because of the way the carrier is selling it
No it doesn’t
If only you could slap it on your wrist...
Psycho Cuber 😭😭😭 EXACTLY!
Lol
Yeah I'll just stick with my lte frontier watch lol
You didn't say one thing about how it plays sound. Is there a mini jack hole for earbuds? Does it do bluetooth to earbuds?
3:54 “You can obviously move stuff around” fails to move icon then segways into whatever the long press actually triggers 🤦🏽♂️
Bring cheap Android smartwatch, thats way better
For $350 just get a Pocophone F1
also holy damn it still has more RAM than most phones
Nokia 8 is another good one
BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL > BIG > MEDIUM > SMALL >
*the trend phone's size revolution
I think it's better as a primary phone if you just need something light that is able to run all the mainstream apps. Not everyone needs a huge phone and right now this seems like an awesome option.
Does it also come with a smaller Palm smart watch for when I don’t want to drag my regular size smart watch around?
Haha same processor and ram as the moto g6. Motorola you listening?
??? the moto g6 is supposed to be a budget/mid range device, them using lackluster specs for it makes sense?
Moto g5
Eh... Motorola won't sell the g6 for 350 bucks.
Its only 99 bucks
Just get Apple Watch. Does the same and more
Pointless.
just 3 question
1 will there be a GSM version
2 Can it work as a stand alone phone
3 how long does the battery last
4 who much would it cost as a standalone
that four questions
Sigh, I remember old days of me sitting on the bus, my pre, and web os. Swiping from card to card. Also the honey comb styling reminds me of the apple watch
Interesting but...................
Is it running PUBG???????
Probably yes but why would anyone go for a small sc5ren.
Yes but you will die on first 10 seconds
It's better my phone, spec-wise
Like, what
Thankfully it is now available as a standalone device!
Love to see all the possible use case scenarios people can come up with for this.
Failed. Big time.
This phone is smaller than the notch on iPhone x lol
People who are saying this is a ripoff aren't taking into consideration that people who bought phones like note 9 are gonna buy this. Look I'm sorry your parents let you trap with pocophone but that's not everyone's situation.
Your comment makes no sense also it is a rip off 350 for this?
@@a-10warthog51 People who buy the note 9 might need something smaller for convenience and this is what that is. They already spent over 1k on there big phone I doubt they will really care about spending a little more. Not everyone wants a pocophone that phone is actually good but it's not for everyone.
Why didn't you look at the pictures on a bigger screen and throw up a quick comparison with a flagship? Why didn't you test the battery life in Palm Mode vs regular over one day?
