Everything We Know About Every Upcoming DC Movie

- It’s no secret that DC hasn’t had the easiest time at the movies over the last decade of the DCEU with the last year being a horrendous streak of flops that just get worse and worse and despite being a sequel to a billion dollar movie, Aquaman 2 isn’t looking to stop that streak. However, 2023 also marks the end of the shared universe that defined the last decade of DC movies with 2024 and beyond marking the beginning of something new, a new universe with new direction and hopefully higher, more consistent quality that leads to better success. What I’ll be going over for this video is going over in as much detail as is possible every confirmed DC movie that we know will release in 2024 and beyond.

I really hope we get an ACTUAL Flash movie. I need to see Barry Allen on the big screen in a good way. Just get Lucas Till as Flash and Antony Starr as Reverse Flash and I’ll be happy.

⭐️I gotta say this, joker definitely did not kill his love interest in the first movie. He only kills people who wrong him and he always has a feeling of relief after he kills.
Zazie Beetz character never wronged him (and actually opened his eyes as to how awful his mother is to him compared to how good of a mother she is to her kid) and he was still very angry when he left her apartment (he didn’t have any sort of relief)
If he did kill her then it’s completely out of character and would be a fail on the movies part
Also, I feel a musical for Joker 2 could possibly work because I didn’t think that I would like a musical as much as I did when it came to the greatest showman

I really hope that Batman movie has the court of owls as the villain, I don’t not want the others but the court is so under represented I had no idea they existed until last month when I binged the DCAMU and saw Batman Vs Robin. They were so cool to see and I really want more of them.

I feel like it would be interesting if the Watchmen animated movie is a legacy sequel to the live-action movie the same way TMNT 2007 was a legacy sequel to the classic Ninja Turtles 90s movies.
I'm excited about Gunn's vision for Superman but one thing I definitely do not like is how MCU movies look and feel in terms of production, costume design and cinematography, and Guardians of The Galaxy is no exception. I'm a bit skeptical
This is exactly what I have felt.
Whether you agree or not, I have to say that the aesthetic of DC movies during the Zack Snyder era was at its peak, and Gunn may only bring the aesthetic of the DCU down to the level of the MCU, or even worse. I dare not expect it.
The Batman 2 hype
MATTSON TOMLIN is the co writer of The Batman 2, not Peter Craig. He's also the guy that was originally meant to recieve credit for the first movie. You got it wrong.
I'm am pretty sure either gunn or Safran have aside that they are limiting them sleeves to 2 movie and 2 shows a year in the dcu with whatever elseworld movie/show
They should defiantly do a Crisis On Infinite Earths Movie.

_I HIGHLY DOUBT_ that _"Joker: Folie à Deux"_ will be a *typical musical.* It'll probably only have 2-3 musical scenes throughout the entire movie.

Zazie Beetz's character didn't die in the first movie. Pretty sure that's been confirmed by Phillips himself. Never got that impression anyways.
Your forgetting James And Safran said 2 movies and 2 shows per year. Authority and Batman Probably Release In 2026 and Supergirl And Swamp Thing in 2027
My predictions for the dcu movie release is the authority summer 2026, brave and the bold late fall early winter 2026, supergirl spring or summer 2027 and swamp thing late fall early winter 2027 with a tv show in between each movie
The only casting I don’t like so far is Guy Gardner. Nathan Fillion is too old to be Guy and Gunn said he’ll have the bowl cut, which kind of implies he’ll be played for jokes. Yes, Guy is a fairly comedic character but he’s also a great hero so I hope that shines through
He literally has a bowl cut in the comics version. If you say he’s a great hero( I wouldn’t know since I’ve only seen him in young justice for a little bit) in the comics and he has a bowl cut in the comics why can’t he be a great hero in the movie with one. I’m sure the reason Gunn is doing it is because he like to make the characters comic accurate no matter how ridiculous they look.
Nathan Fillion should've been Hal Jordan dude.
@@theirongiants Fillion is already 52 years old and the Hal Jordan John Stewart show isn’t even in production yet. Gunn probably want someone younger who can play him for awhile since Hal will probably be one of the major players in the DCU. I doubt Guy will so Gunn can get away with casting an older actor like Fillion for him.

The oldest Lantern usually is Alan Scott he's in his 50s

We need better writers.
To be honest, if the new DCU progresses smoothly in the future, why not consider keeping the Snyderverse alive in the form of Elseworlds? Personally, I would prefer to scrap all the DCEU movies besides Man of Steel and start building an Elseworld that continues the potential universe established in Man of Steel (Definitely includes a Batman there). However, I understand that developing this through live action media would be impossible. Therefore, I think it should be developed as a videogames, which would not conflict with the DCU or any other Elseworld works.
Just imagine a 3A open-world act-adv Batfleck game (What I mean is a Batman who inherits the aesthetics and settings of the Snyderverse, and to a great extent, it won't be Ben Affleck anymore. But what does it matter?) with living Gotham city and smooth combat system and so on.

Why are executives waiting so long to make Dua Lipa? The next wonder woman she would be more edgier and true to the DC comic. Yes, Dua Lipa connect and I think she would be the perfect wonder woman, but they’re gonna mess it up.

I unfortunately I forsee another DCEU failure ahead. I'm a DC homer and I'm not interested in any of these releases, with the exception of Superman. I can't imagine a non fan wanting to see anyone of these.
"Less than 6 months apart" 6 months after Batard 2 would be April but i think itll release in may since that is when detective comics 27 came out
