    To avoid the cauldron mess, you can place blocks all around the cauldron mouth so flux blocks don't have any place to spawn

    To get thaumium cleanly, toss in 4 of each shard + 5 of any shard dust + 5 iron ingots. You get: 4 balanced shards, 5 thaumium and 5 of the shards. With nothing left in the cauldron.
    But to do that you need Recrystallization research.

    If you're having issues with mobs, make a advanced monster repellater, it has a HUGE range (112 blocks (radius I think?)) when powered and completely DISABLES mob spawns in its range, and is essentially free to run. I've not have issues with mobs since beginning of MV because of it. Just to put it into perspective, if you place the repellater around your steam tank, it would reach all the way to the other end of the lake in front of your base, I think, if not, close to the end of it.

    If you go through the entirety of the twilight forest the quest book rewards you with a 20 modifier, mossed paper cleaver, which even whilst doing it improperly like I did by removing one of the paper parts before using its modifier, you can get it to be an unbreakable, 100% beheading, 26 damage cleaver without swapping the paper blade out. Pretty silly

    You don't crossbreed to get Terra Wart. You plant Netherwart on cropsticks with a block of snow underneath the dirt and there is a chance it will mutate into terra wart. If it doesn't mutate, just harvest it and it will roll again to mutate while it grows. The skullfire sword is 100% the best way to get Wither Skulls. It lets you kill normal skeletons for skulls. Also, if you plant the Primal Shrooms on Fertilized dirt, they regrow MUCH faster with the watering can (basically instant). Hoppers can spawn mobs, tops of drawers, the top of your tinker's part builder/stencil table.

      It might actually be easy to get the required Auram for the skullfire sword then, I forgot about how to mutate Terra wart.

    I'm a fan of IC2 crops. In my last playthrough I manually bred 0/31/24 stick reeds, (I heard somewhere that 0 resistance makes them grow faster idk the validity tho) It was a grind but also pretty rewarding. I don't think I'll do it again in my current playthrough though, it's a HUGE time waster.

      I highly recommend the wiki's opencomputers auto breeding setup, huge huge huge time saver

      Resistance isn't needed for the crops for production. The purpose of it is to lower the chance of a weed spawning on the cropstick but when you're doing production you just have all the cropsticks filled with crops. Having resistance on your crop only makes it grow slower and it's totally unnecessary. You cap growth at 23 (some only go to 21, not sure if there's a big difference) since higher growth values lead to the potential for weeds to spread from the crop. I like the IC2 crops a lot. In EV you can make a robot computer that will automatically breed and stat the crops for you, I'll be doing that. If you do it manually just settle on stats that are OK and plant a lot of them instead.

      Ah, I see, noted. I'm planning to get past Late MV this time and build my own rocket to go to space, haha. We'll see if I stick with it long enough to experience the power of IC2 and other cool stuff, but GregTech always burns me out at some point, no matter how much I love it.

    You can click on a side of a machine with a Wirecutter to connect it with an adjacent cable or wire.

    For nether stars you could do a ender io skeleton spawner and put it in the nether.

    • @chainzz_3366
      @chainzz_3366 Месяц назад

      It will naturally spawn wither skeletons and you can use a cleaver to farm heads that way or use a spike to automate it.

      If this works it's genius. I absolutely hate wandering around a nether fortress for skeletons, I'll try to set this up this weekend.

      @@aspectsoundsCan confim. Just did it like yesterday myself. Netherroof is a really chill place to set something up real quick. I only made a Cleaver with one additional beheading. 15mins of work got me like 1 and a half stack of skulls.

    Why do you think the chunk loader blocks are better than the server utilities?

    • @aspectsounds
      @aspectsounds  3 дня назад +1

      I forget to delete the chunks that I loaded often if it's on server utilities. Having it be a physical block helps me to remember!
