welcome back, Aspect! I've been auto-outputing my fluids from machines back into the dual-interface for autocrafting. Its been saving me channels on my system. Only issue I've encountered so far is trying to store Mercury. My AE system just seems to void it.
I love your genuine enthusiasm about figuring all this AE2 stuff out :D and the base is taking shape nicely too!
The creeper sound for a flux effect is just straight up evil. 💀 Anyways love how the base is coming along. I know it's a mess right now but all good bases start that way.
HEY THATS MEE!!! Some tips, the size of the ME outputs is determined by placing a storage cell in the bus/hatch. You are on the right track with cell extraction--as soon as it recognizes the circuit is the only thing left, the me cell goes thru the MEIO port and takes in every item remaining on the subnetwork, I.E. the circuit. Then the cell is extracted by the hopper and piped back into the drive via conduit. I would recommend adding at least 2 more of these universal LCR setups to your enderio conduit line, as it will allow you to request multiple different recipes all at the same time. The beauty of this system is that all LCRs attached to this one enderio conduit network get recipes distributed patterns between them, meaning each LCR will have access to all the recipes of all different circuit types. Also, universal prass is a great idea because of how easy it is to get more interface pattern space, but universal mixers are important slept on. Mixer recipes are rife with clashes, even within one circuit, so I cannot wait to get it out of the way in my playthru.
Thank you IX!! The way the IO ports work is making more sense to me now, and I'm going to add more LCRs when I'm not broke in terms of platinum (which will be very soon). Your vid changed my Greg life.
lovely!
you can smelt tungsten directly from tungsten trioxide
I'll have to look at that recipe tonight, I assumed that it was quicker to make the dust so I can have the versatility to mix it into what it needs to go to but I could've been wrong.
9 minute smelt times are a crime.
It did have some counterplay, putting my EBF up to IV tier energy made it only 2 mins (still pretty painful).
Really enjoying this series, nice to see you pumping out episodes, looking forward to the next one.
GGs!
Yaay! My favorite VTuber is back!
Very glad to see another episode from you. 💙 Keep on greggin'.
With universal automation you could make level maintainers to ensure your buffers are sufficient (might want some more crafting cpus as the level maintainer will make a crafting request when below the threshold)
I'll be honest I have never used level maintainers before. I had heard years ago they were laggy so I never touched them but I know a lot has changed since then.
I hope I can add a contact information with you. I am just a Chinese junior high school student. I have no other intentions. I want to play gtnh with you. I don’t know if you have WeChat. I just want to make friends with you.
I have WeChat but I do not use it very often. Discord is the most convenient place for me to talk to friends and viewers, but if you cannot use it I could add you on WeChat.

Nano circuits take lots of gold so make sure you have a good production before spamming them. Maybe in early IV switch your crop processing to multiblocks
Once I fix my power I'll upgrade to multis and properly finish my crops area. I have an evil plan to make a ton of power really soon and I almost finished my rocket so I can upgrade to HSS-G cabling. From there things should really accelerate.
@aspectsounds 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How odd! I checked your channel earlier today to see where you had gone, or I had missed an episode. Then a few hours later, new episode :D
You should make a multiblock bender and forming press
Yeah I should work on that, my singleblock benders are starting to really slow me down.
Your videos are incredible my friend, I really enjoy following the series
Not sure if I'd say they're incredible but glad you're enjoying lol!
he's back!
Everything was so busy at the chemical plant I work at after December. Since everyone was on vacation all month I came back and so much shit was broken lol. I've been researching new tech though, you'll see in this vid but the things I've learned are completely game-changing for me.
I am a Chinese who just finished this integration pack and plan to play it for the second time
Good luck on your second playthrough! I'm glad to have you here, the Chinese Gregtech community is very interesting to me. It seems like there are a lot of highly skilled players there that I can learn from.
@@aspectsounds gtnh has been updated to version 272, and a lot of bugs have been fixed, so you can update it, which can be regarded as optimizing the game experience
its an abberation that the commentary in a normal lets play doesnt make my head hurt; yours doesnt. nice video!
15:30 i'm sorry wtf, how is this a thing, i kinda skipped your video to this point and i got discombobulated by seeing rubber tree wall and you rotating the tree
I am in the same place as you. 26, from the same generation of minecraft. Although I did a lot of watching of Hypno and playing a lot of tekkit, FTB, etc, the rest is the same. Awesome content man!
I watched Hypno a little bit, always liked him too but I wouldn't follow the whole series. Thank you!
@@aspectsounds Now that you said that, it made me realise just how much I followed him. I'd play not only modded, but some of the adventure packs he was playing. He also got me into Binding of Isaac, lol.
"We are not playing Dark Souls or Minecraft" you kinda do play Minecraft 😬
you can disabled holo glasses overlay with a hotkey
HSSG is a far better cabling material also vanadium gallium
Ok I see, so I basically just need T2 rocket for sustainable tungsten right away then. I didn't think to jump to LuV cables but the rocket is basically just gated by Epoxy right now which I can do.
@aspectsounds you can use lower tier voltage on higher tier cable, just not the other way around. So you can run your IV voltage through HSSG cables which allow LuV just fine.
Lot's of titanium, good power production and auto crafting of circuits. It's time to go crazy with ae2.
Progression is speeding up, Factory must grow
The thaumatorium has 6 inputs, the top layer has 3 more holes. As for automating circuits, 99% of everything is RAM lens or CPU Lens, so you only need 2 Laser Engravers to AE2 craft most circuits. Then just batch craft the other kinds for Energy Hatches or whatever.
your shader looks really good can you share your setup
Shaders are buggy asf with Angelica rn, I think complementary works, that’s what I use.
@ he uses angelica as well
I'm using Complementary Unbound v5.3 since it was the least buggy for me. I turned down all the bloom settings since I don't like that. I'll be making a community post where I'll upload my config file for the shaders soon.
you can use water reservoir hatch you use for machines as the supertank you had
also your "supposed" to use yotta tanks towards the endgame so setting up a centralized fluid storage is gonna be good future proofing
btw you can use a fluid heater to get steam
I think sugarbeat is easier to breed from a cross of carrots and potatoes if you want to pick it up anyway due to the lag caused by farming stations
The lag isn't a worry for now but when I wanna optimize it I definitely will later on, I'll keep that in mind
The Base looks amazing Aspect! looking forward for more machines in there! The Factory must grow!!!!
Seems like we're about in the same point in progression, though I did set up my new base only after getting some of the IV machines and HSS-G coils. How are you planning to do fluid storage in your base? I can't really decide if I wanna store everything on cells, or if I wanna make some sort of hub for super tanks...
I've heard that the cells are good now so long term I might try them. Short term I'm using super tanks and adding P2P to all of them, and fluid storage busses if I want it in autocrafts.
Nice base, looking good. Great progress lately. You should work on a early ore processing setup, you can do it with conduits and a bit of ae2.
I can afford a maceration stack now so I'll be working on ore processing soon!
Found this today gonna watch through the series u should have ore miners by iv tho which i feel need to be just spammed otherwise the mineing becomes ridiculous.
Use a Block of Gold + Diamond to add a free modifier to the unbreakable mattocks and add the 450 lapis. Looting 3 applies to Farming Station outputs. Also, you can find a Tree of Time sapling in Twilight Forest giant tree chests. These grow with a "Timewood Core" in the center of it. If you harvest it with a silk touch axe, you can move it and it speeds up tickrates of things within 16 blocks. This speeds up growth of normal vanilla-mechaincs crops. Sweed, Metalleat, Lazulia, Cotton. All these things can be sped up with Timewood Cores to re-grow instantly. Line Mode on the wrench allows you to shutter a long line of pipes in the same direction with a single click.
Incredible knowledge once again, I never heard about that Timewood Core before
can't wait for this base to be fully realized, I love what you've done so far. the color scheme combined with the shaders gives it that liminal, dreamy, early 2000s vibe, super comfy
Really love the design of your base
I like the style of your pdim-base and the idea of transparent floor to see the cabling is great! For your crops some suggestions with little to no costs for some improved efficiency: you can have up to three layers of dirt below farmland to have a slightly higher nutrition (two, if you need a special block below your crop, it will be the last one). Salty root should not be on hydrated farmland, remove the water, it might even kill the crop, if the stats are too good. the cropbot helps a lot with breeding your crops, you should be able to craft it, but it’s quite tedious without autocrafting. Keep it up, your pace is great and I can’t wait for the next episode!
Damn, that`s why my salty root died. Thanks for info
Being able to have 2 extra dirt blocks, then the special block is something I didn't know. I'll have to give my saltroot its own special breeder area too, thank you! I'll be working on the crop bot soon, I'm really close to hitting the breakpoint where I'll start autocrafting everything but for now the rates I'm getting with low tiered crops are fine.
it would be cool if you streamed GTNH
I'd like to do some streaming this year. I like to watch a lot of vtubers and talk with friends while I play but maybe I'll make some kind of schedule up for it at some point.
You should really slow down on progression and start SERIOUSLY investing in infrastructure. There are so many crops that would be very useful to you right now, as well as some bees but what you really need is proper passive chemicals and chemical processing. I highly recommend not progressing for the time being and just building out the base to the point where you have most of the frequently used chemicals and materials automated.
Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely be focusing on infrastructure soon. I'm almost done moving into the new base and I've been working on some crop crossbreeding today. I really want to get nanocircuits on autocraft and then I'll chill out and do some bees and building most likely.
@@aspectsounds great plan! Do make sure that you get your hands on infinite chlorine using saltroot and oxygen using sugar. Passive stuff like Nitric acid, sufluric acid as well as ammonia is also quite useful. Maxing out the stats on crops is a tedious process but can be done manually once on stickreed and the resulting crops will all be around max stat quality. Also Yellow stonelily with end stone underneith is overpowered as fck, same with black stonelily for flourine. In my last run I did Garnedynia crops for garnet dust processing which gives you some very hard to get ressources like passive pre moon titanium, tons of tantalum and chrome but it is probably not worth the massive amounts of machines it takes
@@fynnborchers6306 yup garnydia or whatever they called are OP i have them too they give a good early acces to Chrome and tantalum
Might want to look into the first few steps of the platline (platinum extraction and salt recycling) for smds as you are going to need a lot of circuits
Great episode as always and happy new year!
I'll do that soon, it would help a lot to have some platinum and just buffer up on all the other stuff and I'll finish it later. Happy new year!
I am currently at UV and got some hints to share: 1. Centrifuging lava is a decent source of tantalum. Your circuit build will thank you for this. 2. Start saving massive amounts of materials for indium. Until you get indium bees it is horrible to get and you need tons. 3. Make a massive centralized power plant after AE autocrafting is fully setup. I heavily recommend using vac nukes. I ran my base with 6 vac nukes from EV to Early LUV. Each vac nuke makes about 40-44K eu/t and consumes tiny amounts of uranium. (use benzene until you get uranium). 4. Use ME Level maintainers to have AE stock up a bunch of things that take long to craft (Tungstensteel, Circuits etc...) 5. Dont wait too long to make a proper ore processing system using GT++ multiblocks, being short on processed materials is horrible to work with. 6. At some point in IV you are able to make a drone centre, Build one! this multi removes all maintenance problems to everything connected to it and it takes no power to run.
agree on the most parts however instead of centrifuging lava just setup a nugget duper from thaumcraft to dupe tantalium gallium and whatever nugget you want. For the essentia just setup an alveary with an essentia bee in there, essentia bees are pretty easy to get regarding the bee progression (sitting at around 300k tantalum and 250k gallium ingots rn)
@@hcsiff How do the essentia bees work I never made one?
@@aspectsounds they basically produce essentia when for theyre life circle so instead of producing combs like other bees they produce essentia. you can read the questbook page of it, its quite informative
Making the 4k/16k etc cells directly in the assembler is much cheaper. Using the smaller drives to make larger ones is just so you can recycle them when upgrading.
Im still on my way to LV(slowly), but LCR seems good thing to rush.
Yes, LCR is extremely useful because it has perfect overclock. Using 2 HV hatches on it, making it EV tier allows so many recipes to run instantly.
Yep, at least two or three of them for general crafting purposes is what I'd recommend now. I did a lot of waiting on chemical reactors for Plastic Circuit Boards and polyethylene, so maybe those are worth running at EV.
I binged just to catch up lol. Happy new year Aspect!
Hi Aspect just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the episode! I also have a question since I probably did not catch that in the video, but can you mention what shaders you are using? Thanks and Happy New Year! <3
I'm using Complementary Shaders v5.3, I might have cut that out of the video by accident. I'll be watching the GTNH community for updates on these shaders so they will work better with Angelica, which is the new Optifine replacement. Typically they have custom emissive blocks and really nice reflections as well but it was not working very well for me with the new version. Happy New Year!
Awesome progress once again. Happy New Year Aspect!
Happy New Year Three!!
The highest damage and fastest crossbow limb is Carbon (until Osmiridium). Energetic Alloy was a better limb material than Manasteel. You're getting it done! Keep it up. The white looks really good with the shaders in your PDim.
