I have a couple suggestions to make the video flow/feel better If you remember yourself talking about letting the player settle in before things happening, (you mainly talked about this in your nextbot and Minecraft video) i think it could apply to videos like this too Watching a video like this, we didn't get to see you act normally, so seeing you getting startled doesnt feel like it has as much weight or meaning the other suggestions would be that the music may need to be quieter or gone, the only reason i say this is cause it kind of over laps the actual sounds from the game. thats all, no hate meant, just wanted to try to help haha
hey Gargin, I think just had the best ideas for your mod. Now based off of other peoples playthroughs on the cave dweller mod, I must say a few things that could make it a lot scarier or tougher to escape. One. being that it should be able to climb up blocks and walls as most people I watch just tower a couple blocks and they are fine. Two. The cave dweller should be able to bust down doors like a hard difficulty zombie, but in 2-4 slams in quick succession. Three. Possibly revamp its looks/animations a bit, (just a teeny widdle bit) like making its torso show ribs like a skeletons, and/or making its run look more like a sprint, a mad dash, prowling, something like that. Four. What if instead of just hitting you, the cave dweller grabs you and you must press the correct buttons at the right times to escape, OR hit it enough to make it run away before tearing off all of your limbs? And last but absolutely not least. Five. What if when the cave dweller was about to spawn, it began picking away at all of the vanilla mobs, stopping their spawns and taking them one at a time, signifying something terrible was just over the horizon, making the encounter as horrific as possible.
Just putting this out as I felt like this the whole time. Side ways, you look like a younger version of me, somehow with the smile too. This video felt really uncanny.

I see what you're doing with the thumbnail and stuff. Don't go crazy trying to game the algorithm after 2 bangers with the same type of thumb. You make cool stuff and I think it'll help you in the long run so your channel doesn't end up looking generic. Best of luck moving forward :)

Hey gargin! Could you make it so the cave dweller avoid all light levels? Its very scary but sometimes it spawns in lava’s light which reduces its scare factor, and maybe give it the ability to climb up walls snd blocks. It be alot of the time people just avoid it by towering. (I would of put this on your cave dweller post but this one is more recent so you’d probably be more likely to see this)
