Number porting is a significant benefit of VoIP, but some businesses face problems in doing so. Thank you for providing useful information to avoid problems in number porting.
Hi Jek, thank you so much for the kind comments and for watching the video. Don't forget to like this video, subscribe to the channel and of course let me know if there is ANYTHING I can help you with regarding your business phone service and internet needs. 😊
I’ve watched your video and first I must say I’m impressed with your knowledge in the space and I was wondering if you could help me by adding a new phone number for my business that would forward to my cell phone? I would also like to set up the service where my cell phone would ring in a different ringtone signifying that It’s a business call as opposed to a friend or family member. Do you offer that service? Thanks! Anticipating your reply.
Hi John. YES there are many service providers we can recommend that will do exactly the features you mentioned in your comment. If you'd like to get in touch with us, please inquire here: www.richtechnologygroup.com/contact-us.html
I don't know much about your specific VOIP needs or requirements but, under typically circumstances YES, I would recommend Zoom Phone over Ooma for several reasons. HOWEVER, if you'd like our help you'd have to contact us FIRST before you contact Zoom directly or register with them, so if you would like our help and access to our pricing you can reach out here: www.richtechnologygroup.com/contact-us.html
The device you are trying to share internet with another device, via the same Ethernet cable, would have to have something called a PASSTHROUGH. Here is a video I did talking about this: ruclips.net/video/PvAIhji30kI/видео.html
Great video Rick, how about porting a number from Voip to cell phone ? Void companies won't provide a pin code you can pass to the new cell phone company, would it work without a code?
That all depends on the cell phone provider you are trying to port to, but typical it's "the law" to allow you to port your number wherever you wish, assuming you aren't in collections or delinquent status with the provider you are leaving or going to. As far as the PIN or authorization code, that depends on the provider and differs to the providers as to if they will require that or not.
Woo, I almost cancel my service before seeing this. Only reason was because it was after hours. Do I just got my sim card from Verizon 6/4, what do I do? I still have my old carrier.

Hello! I am thinking of moving my phones from OOMA to Zoom United. Would you recommend? If so, how do I port my phone? Your guidance would be helpful!

Hello Great video! How can a one line (one Ethernet) be split into two devices? Similarly like hotel room has two devices.

haha I'm glad you found the video before cancelling. Are you using VOIP over SIM/wireless internet services? That could be problematic. Just curious.
Wow, great inside knowledge. I'm trying to do this for my elderly neighbor who's paying at&t insane prices.
