I think it’s more about competency. They use wealth as proxy for determining intelligence, grit, market knowledge, ability to manage human capital. It’s an imperfect metric but better than most considering the opposite side of the billionaire hatred is life long politician hatred

They bombed Russian military sites in Crimea (which is part of Ukraine, not Russia), and some of their missiles were intercepted by Russian surface to air missile defense systems, and shrapnel from that midair explosion landed along the coast, sadly killing and injuring civilians. My encounter with the Director of NSA: In 1965, I was a young soldier undergoing training with the Army Security Agency (ASA), the enlisted arm of Army intelligence. It was impressed upon us that we operated under the authority of the Director of the National Security Agency (DIRNSA), pronounced as a single word rather than an acronym. We were explicitly informed that DIRNSA possessed the authority to issue any directive deemed necessary for the welfare of the nation, and moreover, that he enjoyed immunity from legal accountability. As a new recruit, I lacked the standing to question this doctrine. Presently, I am compelled to ponder: where within the constitutional or statutory framework are such powers and immunities delineated? How might one undertake a scholarly inquiry into this matter?
They are not. Laws are created by judicial decisions which requires conflict of an exact nature coming to court. And NS issues have had the benefit of the doubt of being secretive for the greater good. So no such case has come forward before. Had Nixon not stepped down, his plumbers would have invited such scrutiny. BTW, most striking is how little Nixon stretched the law than Presidents since. At the time, trust in the Govt was so high that the public was shocked.

Liberals are in denial of their party being anti democratic and totally in denial that socialism Marxism and communist leaning policy is an absolute disaster.
Every election?
Oh, Mr. jimbo, you sweet silly man. Both parties are horrible, and the Dems might be the dirtier of the bunch
Sacks is always right. Sacks has common sense. 🥳✌️
I am glad i can across this site recently.
You guys have such good discussions
And devote enough time to talk about difficult subjects.
Ty.
David don’t you dare leave. You’re the reason I watch.
You should get Peter Thiel on the show - he'd be a good person to talk to about Trump and the upcoming election.
Jamie Dimon is no way woke enough for the Democratic Party
Dimon is a sociopath.
Wait… Dimon not that long ago made positive remarks about Trump. Did you guys miss that? BTW, avg Joe voter has no earthly idea who he is & and he’s somehow gonna beat Trump. That would be a debacle-sized no.
See also: Whitney Webb’s One Nation Under Blackmail for the facts on the history of his financial rise to power.
The average voter has never even heard of Jamie Dimon
You guys should take a look at the “name recognition” polls! The Dems need the black woman vote to win…they will not vote for a white 68 year old man!!!
Can’t believe Jcal had never watched the office. He reminds me of Michael Scott!
How the hell did we end up with such incompetent leadership for the United States of America?
you voted for them!
You voted for him
The election was stolen by Dems .
We were forced the choices we were given
The answer is found in Eisenhower’s speech on the military-industrial complex which also includes the MSM. It is just awful how far down this country has fallen since WW2
I dont know how everybody else feels, but I've watched this podcast since episode 0 and i feel like it was at its very best when it was about the markets with some comedy implemented (usually from Jcal, the greatest moderator Heyooo😂). Anyways, I hope you're all doing great. Some of the older episodes got me through some dark times and i continue to look forward to anytime you guys release new episodes.
I discovered you guys after you interviewed Trump, great conversations! I am passionate about intelligence! You are very smart people!💥
That is my the first one that I saw also and I was very impressed. I have shared broadcast with everyone I know
self absorbed and intelligent aren't the same thing.
Happy 248th independence day to all American brothers and sisters ❤🎉

David Sacks nails it every time. He’s my favorite mind on here.
I really like this podcast but the fact that they think the perfect democrat to run would be basically any billionaire shows how out of touch they are. Why would people want jeff bezos as president?
Jason seems to believe that bezos leftist credentials of owning the Washington post and allowing it be a leftist propaganda rag. Make him qualified to run for president on democrats side. Let him to try to even win a congressional seat see how that goes. Hilarious.
I agree it’s a no-go for hard progressive types. But I do think the Democrats could easily sell Mark Cuban as the self-immolating Billionaire that wants to bring down drug prices. All-In can’t see it because they’re bias toward SV and high finance.
I think it’s more about competency. They use wealth as proxy for determining intelligence, grit, market knowledge, ability to manage human capital. It’s an imperfect metric but better than most considering the opposite side of the billionaire hatred is life long politician hatred
It obviously doesn’t matter what people want
So much this comment!
David Sacks carries this podcast
Hello Gentlemen,
I have followed the pod since 2021 and it has been a wonderful journey having the opportunity to listen to you guys.
I understand that the amount of seats for the summit is limited and even more so for the scholarship opportunities.
I would love to attend and will attend an event coordinated by the All In Group as I know it will be of huge impact to my life.
Currently, I am studying and working towards the betterment of my future of which you all have made a grand impression upon.
Warm regards,

Trump 2024!!!
Chamath reminds me of a wise Buddhist monk, speaking with the calm of insight meditation. Sacks is a clear thinker who doesn’t get easily swayed by hypotheticals. The four of them together create a well-equilibrated debate and their interview of Trump is by far the most succinct and eloquent Q&A so far. The All-In deserve full credit for the top quality of this interview!
Sacks makes a lot of sense in terms of probable options.
538 has polls showing 13 different possible candidates against Trump all with negative numbers except for Michelle Obama she is + 11
*Ukraine did not bomb beaches in Crimea. They bombed Russian military sites in Crimea (which is part of Ukraine, not Russia), and some of their missiles were intercepted by Russian surface to air missile defense systems, and shrapnel from that midair explosion landed along the coast, sadly killing and injuring civilians. What Sacks said was not true.
You are not well informed.. go check again.
Sacks Lies constantly about these things. He’s WORSE than Neville Chamberlain and should stop supporting Putin and his attempts to destroy Ukraine and reconstitute the USSR and Warsaw Pact.
You are correct, crimea is not Russia. Sacks is so far right it’s crazy. I would love to see Biden on this pod.
@@pindapoy1596 No, it’s rational that they intercepted Ukraine’s missiles. Russia doesn’t want their military infrastructure destroyed obviously. But the idea that Ukraine bombed civilians on a beach is just not correct.

That’s because RFK is not a puppet to control.
.. and would likely win.
The lack of respect for the court and the nation and the freedoms of all is disturbing
Neither Biden nor Harris is running the show. Whoever is calling the shots will make the final decision.
OBAMA
Precisely! I'm stunned at hearing so many pundits talking as though Biden has a say in it.
That would be Jill Biden
Biden does have to agree to step down. He has the power to be stubborn and not cooperate and hand it to Trump.
At least with Trump you know that Trump is running the show. Full stop 🛑 End of discussion

"Protection money" ... what a brilliant explanation of those unlikely bedfellows. And it is equally a concise description of how Fascism was financed.

Why just “fascism”? Why not mention all the authoritarian, destructive types of government?
The court isn't a 6-3 Convervative/Liberal vote. It's actually a 3/3/3 Originalist/Government Stateist/liberal vote. Robers, Barrett and Kavenaugh have different ideals than Thomas, Alito and Gorsuch.
Great observation. We need to protect Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch AT ALL COSTS!

Well it would certainly give new meaning to the phrase "sleeping your way to the top".
It's probably the way it's going to unfold. All the donations made have been to Biden & Kamala ticket. Bit by their own dei philosophy.
No worries… Biden is sharp as a tack.

Most of those people are still in jail. Not true about only violent people being in jail. Being flippant about that is insulting to many innocent people still in prison.
MANY people are in JAIL because they started an Insurrection. They smashed windows at the Capitol. They Broke through doors and ATTACKED POLICE. This wasn't a guided tour of the property. This was an insurrection. If you can't understand that...perhaps you are the problem?

The progressive 20% would never ever consider it acceptable. Down ballot impact would unbelievable.
My encounter with the Director of NSA:
In 1965, I was a young soldier undergoing training with the Army Security Agency (ASA), the enlisted arm of Army intelligence.
Chamath is glowing today! Love you besties
Thank you so much for promoting meet ups, this is exactly what we need, to get people together and organized to create a consensus about how to deal with these existential problems we are faced with.
Hot Swap ? Hot Mess !!! Serves them right. The longer it takes for Joe to decide..... the Better. It will be increasingly difficult to manufacture mail in ballots in time.
What an absolute dumb thing to say....stick to facts...it would be like bringing up the pee tape as evidence of DJT not being up to the task
Last time, many of the ballots were printed in Zhejiang, China. I know some one who got the order from America, and showed me the ballots printed there, with name of JB.
Friedberg is quickly overtaking Sacks as my favorite on the pod. Love to see him laughing more. A smile that lights up the room!
Has anyone else noticed how close the plot of all this is to VEEP?
Indeed. Except this version isn't funny.
I still have blockers!
VEEP portrays these ppl as more competent than reality.
@@bsmithhammer I def have to disagree with you on that. Think about all the hilarious shit that is happening over the last four years.

I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. I plan to retire at 62 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life. I could fully just rely on only my SS if I wanted to when that times arrives but I'll also have at least one pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Abby Joseph Cohen my FA. Retiring comfortably in the US these days is almost impossible.
I know this FA, Abby Joseph Cohen Services but only by her reputation of being a former employee at Goldman Sachs; even though she's now involved in managing portfolios and providing investmnt guidance to clients. I have been trying to get in contact since I watched her interview on WSJ last month
@@RAKelBerquist
Well her name is 'ABBY JOSEPH COHEN SERVICES'. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

I have a sister in Sri Lanka, should be easy for me to settle in
Abby Joseph Cohen hooked me up with a late-stage fund that got me in on private shares of some hot companies before they hit the market or blew up. Those investments totally paid off when the companies went public and their stocks shot up. Now, I’m stoked because I’m heading into retirement with almost a million bucks in my portfolio.
I hope she gets more of the recognition she deserves.
Chamath getting into Trump is a beautiful story arc
Regarding disproving Biden's senility, any interview that can be taped can be edited to make Biden appear to not be senile.
This country is a shit show right now! We have damn near unfixable issues looming.. Why are they there? Politicians get pensions, health care, and who knows what else!!!! Ramaswamy is the only guy that could come near fixing this. cut out cancer out, At least 50% of Gov, teach the kids the truth and everyone grow intellectually and morally!!!!!!!
I would like to see him chosen for Trump's vice president. He would get a lot of experience and I love the way he thinks and I believe he loves America so that would be a great team. But he tries to outshine everybody and Trump's not going to have that but he is a very intelligent guy I love to hear his views on everything
I think after serving what Trump for 4 years between the two they could try to get America straightened back up. I don't know why anybody would want the job. It's going to be hell trying undo all the crap that's been done in the last 4 years
This is my inaugural visit to this podcast, and I am thoroughly enjoying the spirited back-and-forth between opposing viewpoints. Letting the audience decide for themselves, after getting all sides first, is the fair and balanced thing to do!

Oct 29, 2020 "We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics"-Joe Biden
When Obama says "Biden can't win" what he means is no matter how many ballots are manufactured for Biden, the American people will never believe that Biden won. They need Kamala at the TOP of the ticket to at least give the impression that it is a "legitimate" election.
Another indication that O'Biden cheated in 2020:
>MANY incumbent Democrats LOST their jobs. When Pelosi was scolded by her caucus she replied, "but we got the White House."
>I personally had 3 ballots in 2020: 1 that I filled out in person at my New England precinct, 1 in Michigan and 1 in Georgia. I recommend that anyone with a former residence in a battle ground state snail mail a letter to that Secretary of State to demand that your name & residence be removed from their voter rolls.
>I had a MI driver's license for 4 years, but I NEVER ever voted in Michigan.
>I voted in GA but not in over 15+ years.
>I am also personally acquainted w/a prominent person who pays taxes and raises kids in our solid blue state but she voted for Biden in Pennsylvania to defeat Trump.
I like the way you worded that.
So many people say, "There's no evidence!" No, there is a mountain of evidence that has been ignored and not allowed to be seen in court due to "standing."
