Great video bro! I just wanna say that to anyone having problems with trying to do this, and the 'Update' button isn't getting enabled, make sure that you're following instructions. You have to already press and hold the button, before you insert it to your PC.
Don't be like me that assumes that step can be interchanged.... it won't work when you connect it to your PC before holding the button.
I'm glad I watched this; was having so much trouble because I didn't see you had to push the button WHILE you put it in the USB port. Glad to see it demonstrated so I could get mine updated.

I tried the update like mentioned in the video and now nothing is working anymore. No reaction and no light. Any recommendations how to solve the issue?

Sorry, didn't see your comment. I'm unsure what the issue would be or how to fix it :( When you plug it into your computer again, does the Mayflash software recognize it as a device? Or does it not show up? I would also contact Mayflash directly on their website, they have good customer service.

I wish! This poor laptop can't handle it. One day! Been drooling over this game for nearly a decade can't wait to get my hands on it. I've kept it downloaded to ease my depression about it, it's not helping.
@@hopefullyquality was at that point for assetto corsas release. give a look at BeamMP once you do end up with a system to run it well, you won't be disappointed!
Mine won't populate with or without the C adapter. I can hear it having the connecting noise like yours when holding down the little button, but nothing populates, and I can't get this thing to do anything but change which color lights blink with either 2 different PS3 controllers, either via USB connected directly waiting for the blue blinking light to change after hitting pairing, or with my XBox one bluetooth controller, which was found and connected immediately via my other PC's built in bluetooth. I also tried it on the other computer with no sign of pairing or updating. I waited exactly about a month to try it out and just have trash now. I hope the F500 I just got isn't a brick, too. Sorry for the negative message and appreciate your video.
Jeez that sucks! Sorry to hear, that sounds super frustrating :/ Have to tried reaching out to MayFlash? Also, dumb question but I have to ask, did you change the color of the light before entering it into pairing mode? It has to have the correct color corresponding to the system you're trying to pair to, otherwise it won't work. What you're describing seems like you either forgot to do that, or you truly have a dud :( My video on setting up the device with an Xbox controller goes into a bit more detail into that.

To my recollection it does. I would check their website to be 100% certain.
