I remember getting this back in the day after I thought "Hey, why is Ikaruga the only shmup on my Xbox? Lets fix that." And then looked in horror at how much many of them cost like Eschatos or Mushi Mushi Pork and Sweets. Debated about a week on Raiden Fights Aces, think it was 20 bucks or so which may not seem like much but it adds up fast. So in the end I picked up Raystorm HD because it was 10 dollars. :) Got Rez HD on the same day I believe.
And I absolutely regret not pulling the trigger in RFA as it's gone forever how from Xbox Live and the Steam port suuuuucks! At least I snagged Bangai-O Missile Fury before it exited.
@@docsavage4921 You gave me a few more games to look into. As for the subject; Raystorm HD, you can now get that on Ray'z Arcade Collection: ruclips.net/video/t3CiAPo93hw/видео.html
This video inspired me to play another round of my Xbox copy, and I notice it's not backwards compatible? That's a damned shame, only way to play this is by digging out the 360 or buying a Switch.
@@docsavage4921 I have this sneaking suspicion that Microsoft is going to abandon the hardware business. I keep my 360 out, but I'm the anomaly.
I have four shmups on my Xbox 360. this, Radiant Slivergun, Space Invaders: Infinity game and Ikaruga. There are more shmups that i've played on other consoles and. Handhelds.
First, thanks for watching. I have each of those games across multiple consoles as well. Well; not "Space Invaders;" but the others. As for this one, it is included in the Ray'z Arcade Collection, which is available on other consoles: - Ray's Arcade Collection For Nintendo Switch - The Best Of M2!: ruclips.net/video/t3CiAPo93hw/видео.html - Ray'z Arcade Collection - Nintendo Switch vs PlayStation 5: ruclips.net/video/KfYWPdkA_XQ/видео.html

Cool. I forgot about this game. Played it on the ps1 when it came out. Will look for it again to play
Let me know what you think of it.
@@GenerationalGamer I found this on the ps3. It definetely looks better than the ps1 version. Has better textures and graphics
@@ll_spud Check out the modern game: ruclips.net/video/t3CiAPo93hw/видео.html. I believe it is available on everything.
@@GenerationalGamer Interesting. I didn't know this came out. Thats a great compilation
Mine is a Japanese game. It is due to come out here soon.

I see Sony owners got the bundle too. So it's only Microsoft gamers who get shafted.

still think the ps1 version looks excellent. the hd version looks like starfox.
The HD version is just a cleaned up and prettier version.
