  • The Casio ABC30 is a vintage databank combining technology not seen in databanks produced in 2024! This watch can store 30 Databank entries, while also displaying THREE TIME ZONES: via world time, analog time, AND digital time while being able to toggle between displaying day/date/month or time (independent of the analog clock). More features include: STW, Alarm, exchange rate are some of the features highlighted by a great EL light lighting up both the analog and digital displays. No DataBank made today has all of these features and this watch is 30 years old! The DBC32 comes close but doesn't have an analog display let alone access to THREE time zones. This vintage Casio certainly outperforms current DataBank watches today.

If you find one with a bracelet, keep me in the loop. I think you'll love it.

This is a beautiful watch even in 2024.
I accidentally found a DBC-V50 (data bank & voice memo) when I was cleaning one of the shelves a few months ago. Unfortunately it’s in an irrepairable state and I don’t remember when I bought it and when it got damaged 😞
I found a WS-300 also which I remember I bought 25 years ago at Walmart when I was on a visit to the US (from India). Recently I found a used WS-300 with black dial and bought it as a buddy to my WS-300. These are the oldest working Casios in my collection.

The WS-300 has a great look. They dedicated digital display space rather than what the GAB2100 CasiOak...they crammed in the display. Lots of great retro designs still relevant today!

Fantastic watch! I love those original Casio watches. Can’t beleive that EL light is still that strong! Retro Casios nowdays are cool but not as near as quality as it was then, especially A168 and similar plasticky models.
Managed to find Casio W-36 Marlin (yellow dots) from 1983 in mint condition with original bracelet and it became my everyday watch! Love it!

The originals can still go the distance. I have one more vintage Casio to finish reviewing...this might be my favorite from the 1990s.

Nice retro watch, not in my wheelhouse when I was growing up in the 80’s/90’s, being that I was in the military I was more inclined to the Ironman and G-shocks of the day…

This one was definitely a unique taste...I also grew up in the 80s and I don't think I would've considered wearing this watch back then. Too adult looking. Now...absolutely. Very style'n!!

The bracelet reminds me of one that Timex issued years ago. Good review.

Thank you for watching and commenting. Great point…now that you mention it, I recall something like that as well.

Yeah it was on the original Ironman, and it looked great. The old school Ironmans are so cool.

Hey, nice video, I love this watch as well, one of the very few examples of ana digi calculators! Your bracelet is definately not original tho; the resin version always had a rubber bracelet, while the silver version had a blasted stainless steel bracelet. You can see them side by side in one of my YT shorts

A little too nerdy for me (and I’m a big nerd), but I do appreciate the look of this watch. Something Dwight Schrute might wear for a night out.
