XIII-2, aside from being a phenomenal game where XIII was just "alright", even tops XIII's OST in my opinion. Srsly, it's amazing. ... and "The Promise" will always be an incredible piece of music.

For example: My driver love final fantasy 4, his first FF game (he just brought a psp after he heard they release it again on psp). My brother like FFVIII and it is his first one, and my friend love 9 also his first FF game. FOr me I lvoe 13 coz i never actually beat other for a various reason.

If you love the first version of Serah's theme, you should listen to the second called 'Wish/Memory'. I think her second theme suits a wedding theme very well, that's not to say this version isn't as beautiful as her second theme. All of her themes are beautiful!
Sarah's Theme is very Gentle and sweet while Lightning's is all about action (hence being remodeled into a battle theme), but both are very beautiful in the Piano collection
i actually really liked FFXIII, especially the changes in combat. sure it might not be as exciting as other titles but placing the focus on a player's tactics, setting up your paradigms to match any situation and switching them according to the ebbs and flows of battle were, in my opinion, just as fun as controlling each character individually.
I love the way fans always need to fight over which FF is best. They are simply stories and so different stories will appeal more / less to different people.
Amazing! I'm going to get the piano collections even though a lot of them seem really hard! I've been playing for almost two years so I'm past beginner but I think this is sort of advanced.... But I want to the book so one day when I'm really good I can play all of these songs! I will at least try to learn this one when I get it :)

I never got people wrong for not liking XIII or even now XIII-2 but seriously being 15 and growing up with the series since VI personally XIII is my second favorite after Vi i know i know it just an opinion but i cant deny it. the more and more people said vanille was annoying i smiled because it wasnt true vanille was just as weak as any human she did what any regular caring person would do and try to shadow there past and fix it later. fck linearity and combat the characters situations are
For not having Uematsu (I don't feel like googleing whether or not i spelled that right -.-, i'm sure you all know who i'm talking about.) they did pretty damn well. I still hum that battle theme when i'm walking down the street. However... i did miss the fanfare :'(
While the game wasn't very well developed plot wise (apologies to the fans) as some of the others like FFVII, X, and etc, the soundtrack definitely made up for that. I loved the characters, just not a lot of the plot.
I don't see why it's such a big deal whether or not people liked the game, i genuinely enjoyed the game and the soundtrack which is really all that matters

i dont care what anyone said! FFXIII was GREAT!!!! and i judge RPG's really hard it wasnt just a dry game the characters made you want to save them! my hard drive broke and im still playing the game to get to the end!
