- Today Ana is going to talk about her earliest memories, living with AMC, and advice for other AMCers younger than herself. #arthrogryposis #amcawareness #amcprincessana #disabilityawareness #stronggirl
I don’t think Ana see’s herself as disabled I think she see’s that she had challenges and she just finds ways to overcome them , Ana is an amazing positive young lady !! She will go far in life because of her attitude !!
Ana is an 8 year old kid. Her worries is not her disabled. She is teaching us a lot in this interview.
It is amazing that Anna doesn’t dwell on her disability Very positive I’m sure she will have an awesome adulthood Their is nothing that Anna can’t do
She’s funny! Very independent and voiced her opinion surely! She will be challenging constantly! Go Ana!
I remember you dancing in front of the tv and doing excersizing too.
Mom has done so well with helping Ana accept her differences. Everyone has disabilities sometimes physical and sometimes mental.
You’ve also done such a great job creating a positive environment for Ana. You continually call her up, not down. Well done. We’re grateful for your example & encouragement as we parent our own AMCer ❤
Ana was born that way. She knows no difference to compare. I admire her as a person.
Hey Ana and nana, I didn't catch yous live as in Scotland you go live about 2am in the morning here. I love that Ana doesn't let Amc define her. She's Anna not amc , amc is a condition she has to navigate but she's so smart and knows she is so much more than that x
Ana upbringing has been absolutely spot on. Awesome girl you did great
I love seeing you love on her and she loves you so much!!
#replay I think kids with disabilities don’t know a different life. The parents’ attitude and involvement plays a lot into how the child see their life. As a pediatric PT I have worked with a wide range of disabilities and attitudes. You have done a great job developing Ana’s determination by encouraging her to try things before asking for help and not dwelling on things she can’t do. Treating her as a young human instead of a disabled/sick/scary child is so important. I’ve worked with kids whose parents have focused on “my poor child,” or treated them as so special they become little helpless kings/queens, as well as parents who treat them as a “normal” kid who has some special needs. The first tend toward “woe is me”; the second becomes arrogant and bossy. The third become the most adjusted, happiest, and successful.
I remember seeing her walk on the grass and you were afraid she was going to fall. But, she didn’t! Ana was amazing!
When I was a young child, my memories were experiences rich in love and support and I only knew that my body worked differently and I was born with CP and as you have said Ana knew no differently and knows things she can do and doesn’t always know what she can’t do until she discovers that she either can’t do it or needs more assistance to accomplish the goal! She has had great supporters and has had a can do attitude!
I wish I had found Ana sooner. I am a newbie here. She is a beautiful child! I love watching her, and mom you are pretty great too! ❤
I remember when Ana walked down the hill the first time snd nana you were so scared she would fall !! And I remember when she stepped up that 1-2 inch slight raised area at the cabin. Down by the lake and Austin was her caregiver and was there with y’all !
I love that she remembers relationships first.
NANA UR A ROCK STAR🥰
I'm loving these sessions xx
I remember when Ana walked down the hill and her learning to step up . Also remember her building with the wooden blocks
I recall Ana getting used to walking and her achievements in that - walking on a grassy surface for instance. And there are so many other examples of things I've seen Ana learn to do.
You are such a positive girl Ana . I think you are a thinker and you are a great problem solver 🎉
Watching on replay 😊
Ana has a good positive attitude and this has caused her to do things some would have thought impossible for her. There are so many things she has learned to do through determination and by you, Nana, encouraging her not to give up!
Enjoyed the chat, Ana adorable ❤
On replay hi guys , listening to ads 30 seconds each , have a nice day love you
Determination.. that’s the way to go!!!
Watching replay
ana is so smart and adorable what a little lovebug
Thanks!
I think its pretty cool ana is just focusing on just being a kid
Don't think about what you cannot do, think about what you can.
Watching replay ❤ hi ladies love to hear your views Ana xx ❤
I had started following you when you did the stepping stones…
Your amazing Ana ❤
She doesn’t focus on the disability and a good way to address it. Maybe that’s the answer don’t focus on the negative focus on positive ❤
Good job
I'm just getting caught up on the videos. I'm so sorry I haven't been really able to get on here I started back to work and my shift has changed so I don't get on as much. I also have been having some personal problems
I love watching sweet Ana! She’s amazing!
8:54 p.m. Ana, you’ve come so far and I’ve learned so much through your journey! ❤
I am a stroke patient and I had to learn everything over again I was 33yearsold and I hated to ask for help . Iwas happy when I could complete something on my own !
That's great, Ana is watching a replay from Georgia
Dear AMC Princess Ana team ,I need to watch after the live stream as I need the closed captions so I don't miss a lot. would you consider a program that allows them to be on screen as you talk? I watch several live steam meetings that do this and it is huge help.
Replay watching
Do not forget that the environment created by Ana's support team, mainly your Mom who provides Ana to succeed in being her true self. Gratitude for that effort is key. ❤
My mom?
Hi Nana and Ana. You are both doing a wonderful job of explaining AMC. You always have. Ana you are such an inspiration. ❤️. Ps I’m Marcia Sell. I have some odd user name on here. I guess I should try to change it.
I thank you for letting her live lìfe
Good night you guys have good one
Watching replay ❤❤. She is so precious. Very intelligent.
You are a smart young lady with a lot of gumption n nothing gets you down! Keep it up!💙👍😊
Anna can do anything she puts her heart and mind to and if it were me I would say you can accomplish anything you put your heart to don't let this disability over rule you , you can accomplish all you want by putting your mind to it and push through it Anna is very smart it would depend on your ability and mind and heart what you wanna accomplish as your goals in life .what is one goal you wana accomplish ana
Ana, I love your shirt that fits you well I know you love science very much!
Another thing that might work is having her watch a few of the clips of her running into problems earlier in life where she was trying to communicate with you what she wanted you to do to help something work like when she was trying to use a slinky to move her toys or something like that she wanted you to hold it or put it somewhere I think she wanted to basically have them her toys right on it so maybe if you watch a couple of the videos so you could just have her or have her see cause I think that she would say that and if you don’t understand your child or don’t know what they need just watch and listen he watchful in listening and they’ll communicate what they need you The best they can…
hello Ana and nana from fort Scott Kansas have a great day
Cute 🥰 ana
An elevator pitch can be shared in an elevator ride or at the checkout in the grocery store. We are only seeing people for a few short minutes, right Nana.
Love hearing about this!!
Watching replay.
💙💙💙💙 #Replay
ITS ARTHROGRYPOSIS AWARENESS MONTH!! WEAR BLUE
Do you show videos to Ana in her younger years ? Like when she walked down the hill etc. I agree with the that Ana doesn’t think of herself as disabled…. Maybe Ana looks at herself as “challenges to be overcome “
So precious
thank you for sharing
Yes Ana you are always Interesting, beautiful and smart. ❤️ 💙
I have a disability and I get frustrated because I wish I could do more
What are things you would like Nana to do more for you or what would you not want her to do .
I have shared
Like my mom did for me having Cp and a brain injury
Tell them to reach out, because they aren't alone.
#Replay
how much can you do on your own ? how much do you want to do on your own ?
Hello Ana and Nana
I remember the hill. I held my breath until she was at the bottom.
Ana I like your shirt
What age was surgery? Not much memory before age 4-5 for most children unless a traumatic event maybe?
What about her first time dancing at the Arthrogryposis convention
replay :)
You got what I meant
I have ADD and I do not let it control my life. I remember my 8th birthday and up i do not remember anything blow my 8th birthday.
I love when she focuses on the math. So only 0,0012% of her memories are about AMC. 😂🥰
hi guys
How bout your early casting?
You could share what your mom does for you, that you value.
Try 3x before asking for help.
👋 hi.
Does she remember Mr Dan's CRASH PAD
Hi .from new Zealand 🇳🇿
I’m impressed you always in courage her to keep trying until she conquered the job. I would find myself wanting to help her. A good parent lets a child accomplish what they can to become stronger and successful.
Hi Ana
I know she remembers THE FAN
You let her live not make her ĺive her disability
I think are to blame for that Nana because you let her grow and do what she can on her own
Hi Ana and Nana
