As I started watching you at start of Uk Lockdown and suddenly becoming a widow and so living in complete isolation I realised aged 70 that I had several lifestyle Neurodiversity disabilities. Watching Ana self manage and you support her has and is still teaching me how to do the same and teach others how to support me appropriately. I feel hugely grateful for this. I watch when I can as you cheer me up and give me the motivation to keep going. Thank you.
Once again you enlarged my understanding of what parenting an AMCer entails. Ana is a extraordinary kiddo for just who she is. I love listening to her explanations of the science she is learning, she is such an intelligent child and so full of life. She refuses to be defined by AMC and that is a tribute too how you and Aaron have been raising her.
I loved seeings the amc awareness shirt you put out with Ana’s art and beautiful cursive writing; I hayed writing as a child, because I thought it was hard, but watching Ana write and draw, it amazes me how well she does with it…

Fall training is awesome with my spinal stenosis I went thru a period with lots of falls that I knew I couldn’t stop so I just didn’t try but didn’t know how to fall “better”.
I'm glad Aaron is a softie. I think we all need that person - and Nana, you are a wonderful mom so it's not a criticism. I love that one parent is the cop and one is Disneyland.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 No I get you. I tell him the same thing! Whenever he tries to crack down and kind of gang up on her with me I remind him later that she needs to have a softer place to go. I've long established that I am the authoritarian in her life and it's going to have to stay that way, and that's okay! He can be the soft one and still back me up and still offer her a place to go complain about me. 🤣 I'm willing to take that bullet so that she has consistency and stability and clear expectations to grow up with.
Does Anna ever have to rehearse walking places where she’s more likely to stumble? I need to do that. I also need to practice when I need to dock for a tree that would hit me in the face stepping over the sidewalk all that stuff….

I managed to get my balance back during a stumble up a step yesterday… I was amazed that it didn’t result in a fall!
