In the 80s, we called concerts "shows ". The term "mosh pit" started in Hardcore and Thrash got hold of it in the mid 80s. Now, dance floors are called mosh pits. The first time I saw a trendy pit was was when I saw Ryan Seacrest say they were putting in a new mosh pit on American Idol. I thought teeny boppers were going to slam but no such luck. Then, a cew years ago, one 9f the Kardashians said they were in a mosh pit with Beyonce and that Beyonce was a maniac in tbe pit, shaking her booty. That's when I knew that we were victims of cultural appropriation. Lol.
The one thing i never get is why "goregrind" is still not considered a word , despite the fact that goregrind has been around for more then 30 years. Try type into any chat etc that has a auto spell, and it never comes up.😠
In my postulative post vision of your most disconcertive metal query, I have come to a most carnivorous conclusion : To "tweak" (as you so aptly put) metalhead vocabulary, would require the most adept inquisition imaginable. A meditative journey to the darkest abyss. I bid all whom would take up this noble undertaking a fond "good journey" and "good luck!" I wish I could offer more, but the shadows even now move against me.
A Celebration Of Metal ( this would include concerts & festivals) Meditative Metal ( For Gothic Metal & Symphonic metal only ) What do you think of my suggestions?
"Cheap therapy for daddy issues" that definitely hits the nail on the head lmfao
Definitely your thing.
Given some of the prices for tickets nowadays, I wouldn't call it cheap therapy anymore. 😅

Great video!! 😂🤘
It’s not exclusive to the metal community, but you could call dudes with long hair an excuse to attract alt chicks.
I was waiting for some Ghost reference
"Ritual" feels so right for other bands too. So bummed about the Simpsonville SC fiasco ☹
