Insane Arizona Elk Rut Action

We found ourselves right in the middle of an Elk Rut Pit. They were screaming. They were fighting. It was intense. And this is 5 minutes of some of the best of it. #TheMountainProject #RealHunts

Great action! This is most likely public ground as very little of AZ is private. Especially where the elk roam. I have experienced this type of action probably 30-40 times and it is what draws me back every year. Even if you don't hunt, everyone should witness this and be so close to them that you can hear them breath. You will swear your heart is going to jump right out of your chest.

I can't tell you how many nights I have dreamed of experiencing something like this. Elk are such beautiful animals. When you archery hunt these animals you develop such a personal connection it almost hurts to kill one. That's how I feel about it. Great video!!
