Nice video, seems I naturally picked up the same talents as you. Seemed a little obvious but there were guides recommending a few differences so I was a little hesitant that I might be wrong about my choices. Cool trick I found out. Normally you get only 3 global CDs with your opener from [Stealth] but I found that you can... queue one [Shadow Strike] to happen about 0.5s after exiting [Stealth] and actually get 4 global CDs from your "stealth opening rotation". Easiest examples: 5 combo points [Stealth] - [Nightblade] > 3x[Shadow Strike] 0 Combo points [Stealth] - [Cheap Shot] > 3x[Shadow Strike] You can not deviate from the triple [Shadow Strike] after [Cheap Shot], [Nightblade], or [Eviscerate], because you will only get 2 [Shadow Strikes] before {Subterfuge} ends due to animations. This utilizes the fact that you can queue an ability 0.5s before the 1.5s global CD is finished and *[Shadow Strike] can animation cancel itself*. Normally, you lose {Subterfuge} at the end of the third global CD but since you queued that one Shadow Strike 0.5s before {Subterfuge} ended... it still uses the 3rd [Shadow Strike]. Another tip: letting [Symbols of Death] CD get to 2 seconds before you open up. This lets you recast [Symbols of Death] on 3rd cast of [Shadow Strike], for two guaranteed crits from the buff [Death] on 1st and 3rd [Shadow Strike]. Combo this with the above for having [Nightblade] already up during that [Shadow Strike] spam (freeing up your 5 CP after {Subterfuge} for [Kidney Shot]) for a really nice bursty opener.
SENSUS! :D You and Rythmn are the reason I went Rogue, and even more, you made me go Subtlety ;) Sub' is the best Rogue specc' hands down! Was lvl'ing as Outlaw, but I quickly found out that, as Sub' I did more damage, killed more and had more fun in general xD ty' for the guide!
When do u use the double stun combo ? triple stun combo and kidney combo ? Should we use triple stun for healers double stun for Cloth(mages) and i feel that we need to us kidney for warriors????
I an the Vigor build for a couple of months and then I tried the Deeper Stratagem build and never looked back. its a much slower style but the damage output feels super nice. You just have to make sure you dont use finished unless you have 5/6 CP and you are good. Give it a go if you havent already. It takes a bit of getting used too but i bet you will love it.

about the artifact weapon routing, you mention that Finality is the best to go for first, and you go in a clock-wise pattern... but does that mean go for Akaari's Soul first? it also seems stronger then Shadow Nova since Akaari's probably procs more often

Question for all sub rogue, I feel like my rogue is broken or something, I'll explain myself. I'm ilvl830, I farm artifact power everyday, so it's quite upgraded right now. But if I open someone in bg/arena with the same opener than Sensus in this video, I barely do 15% health, maybe 20% if most of my hits are crit... Why my damages are low?

Hey sensus, I'd recommend you use Shadow Dance before the very first finisher (Nightblade) why? although you might still be in Subterfuge or lose 1 second from Shadow Dance (or even "lose" the 30 energy regen from Master of Shadows), you want to reset your Shadow Dance as fast as possible through Deepening Shadows, a 4cp Nightblade grants u a 12-second Shadow Dance reduction plus the 30% CD reduction from Shadow's Caress, you will have your first Shadow Dance charge at 30s CD in the very first GCD of Shadow Dance, which means you can reset the charge completely with 2 more 5-cp finisher keep up the good work :)
I meant you could just swap this part of the "rotation" cheap shot > shadowstrike > nightblade > shadow dance > . . . to cheap shot > shadowstrike > shadow dance > nightblade > . . . you could get CC'd in both cases equally (right after you pop shadow dance), losing a shadow dance charge equally in both cases I think there is even more to it, but as you know, PvP has a LOT of variables to put them all in a youtube comment

Phantom assassin is just superior overall tbh, the +3 secs to SD/symbols up for free every time you SD or enter stealth is just too good. And also more health = more heals from crimson vial and soothing darkness.
I'm guessing rogue gets easier to maintain energy the higher you get in lvl, because right now as a lvl 62 it's pretty much just symbols of death and shadowstrike spam and then wait for energy to pool so you can burst again...or I'm a total noob.

Why Master of Shadows over Marked for Death? I mean I can't for the life of me see how 30 energy is better than double evis or instant kidney... Does it extend your opener/rotations by that much? Thanks for the guide :)
the problem with marked for death is Yeah you get double eviscerate but then you're energy starved for the rest of the fight. with the 30 energy it gives you EVERY time you shadow dance or stealth you are never low or out of energy

i'm not sure if thiss "long shadowdance" is worth or it'better go full dmg with a 3-5 sec SD! 30 sec Vanish + 20% dmg is insane!!! and 10% dmg + 1 cp from deeper stratagem is pretty good too! with shadowblade you hit two shadowstrike and get max cp, no waste of energy/cp!!
this is why im confused and can't decide which one should i use:D Notice that with that passive 30% faster cooldown regen in stealth this vanish will be almost 20s cooldown:D

That's definitely an option, but say you get CC'd right after you open you immediately wasted a shadow dance charge.

doesnt matter in pvp only your ilevel matters since stats are normalized

Sub is usually better for rares and bosses but outlaw combined with MFD can make killing big packs of mobs easy

The Orc racial of 20% doesn't stack like you think it does with relentless. It only adds 5% on top of 25% which brings you to 30%. .25*.20 = .05

Sub is pretty solid for the soothing darkness, but outlaw's also good.

if you're using backstab that much you're not playing sub correctly. you almost never use backstab
