As a Licensed Psychotherapist I’m so sorry to hear about the experiences that some people have had. I can only imagine! However, I am grateful that options are out there for people. When my ex and I broke up two years ago. I had to watch her get engaged three months later. And up until now she seems so happy moving foward living life like I never existed. While for me. Some days I dont even want to be here. Hearbreaks that lead to depression are the worst.

I been ok, a little bit strugglng since I got into a car accident the weekend before my birthday. So really just trying to heal and recover but also be an adult and handle all of the things that comes behind an accident as well. So overall im very thankful to be here, but also hurting at the sometime if that makes sense

I had a therapist on better help and she was telling me other people business and that was my last straw I still want my refund.
I had a therapist call my mom a bit bc of the abuse she was doing to me and told me to move out of her house and live in a tent with my 5 yr old or don’t come back to therapy bc I’m wasting her time

When me and my baby father broke up we had a two bedroom we just decided that he was going to share rooms with our daughter (since he worked most of the time) until our lease was up 💯 so we were basically roommates that barely seen each other because he worked over night and I work during the day 💯

I disagree with not telling the kids about s deadbeat parent. I felt like my childhood trauma was a direct result of my mom allowing me to chase after A Man who didn't want me. She never told me the truth about my father. She allowed me to repeatedly be ignored, neglected, and abandoned by him. It took for him to tell me that he had a new family and I was no longer his priority for me to understand he didn't care about me. Tell these kids the truth!
