I actually went for this achievment a few weeks ago (and convinced a friend of mine to do the same) and i got to say conquering all the stuff is actually (mostly) entertaining. It's also very nice that you only have to control all the states (and not own them) to form Gran Colombia and that you don't need all your cores to do so. Would be interesting trying to get maximum cores, since you would have to do this with peru and go to war with the allies (since panama canal, dutch caribbean and british guyana are also cores).
Fun fact, not going for the civil war was a very smart choice. When I was playing I got trapped in civil wars at the started. The democrats keep the same amount of control in your nation and will ignite civil wars again and again until they drop down to at least 60%...
I had to win 4 civil wars, the other side was able to build an extra military factory since they were alive so long/often, that they were able to finish some focuses xD
Colombia: Starts being a f*scist nation and doing bad boi stuff unlike in real life

Just did my own trip to Peru with the family hope you can enjoy it as much as I did Stak.

Roasted Cuy is delicious, highly recommend. if would do it in one of the mountainous areas like Cusco. where it is more normally eaten by the locals. Don't forget to try Lomo Saltado, Ceviche Tigre (Lima), Papas a la Huancaina, Causa, Anticuchos de Corazon, and Triple Sandwiches. and of course the Coca Tea (Cocaine Tea) while in the mountains.
I enjoyed this one. Maybe AI Germany did better in Europe being that you were in SA and Germany didn’t consider you a threat, therefore it didn’t have to protect VPs, and coasts as much as it normally would with you in Europe.

Always naval invade in South America. All the vps are costal and you can ignore the bad supply. Mountaineers might be good w the special forces update too

I recommend a mod for the region: En Union y Libertad, which is an overhaul to make South America fun to play
And this video is the reason I used the old naval production exploit to get this achievement years ago. saved at least an hour of my life waiting for the ships to finish being built

I know I said on the other video, but paratroopers are a must fighting in South America to form Gran Colombia lol. The AI is so aggressive, as you saw, you let them move into your territory and drop being them. Hope Nippon is a great time for you man, thanks for all the fun content.

I don't think the devs are unaware of how impassible the jungle that borders Panama and Columbia is bc that invasion of panama looked really easy. It would be interesting if they forced you to naval invade there.

a little tip here if you ever fight in south america or latin america in general, your MVP there are marines and montainers, south america has a lot montains and large river crossings along side with plenty of jungle in the more northern tip, with the new adition to doctrines for SFs they are even better now as you can have stronger and more numerous of them.
montainers with rough terrain bonus for rangers completely negate all debuffs for fighting on montains, while marines can get positive atack on small rivers if equiped with pioners or 1942 engineers, and can almost half its penalties for large river crossings, along side pioners can get bonuses for jungle, so if you are one of the nations that has reagions of the amazonas, its a good idea to use them, afterall naval XP is one of the easiest and more useless ones, mostly becose navy in hoi4 is *BORING!* .

Next achievement should be to rebuild the AH empire as Hungary. Either that do weapons of the third emu war.
Typically it's easier to try to bum rush Portugal, then intervene in the Spanish civil war, then hit that Naval Piñata that is Italy. Then grab some France and Germany, then back to Brazil, then rofl stomo Japan. Take land only in Portugal, and focus on stealing those ships in peace deals. Sometimes you can even get a boat load from the USA.

I think they stated in one of their podcast episodes that they aren’t really doing videos with their daughter anymore because they don’t want to be using her for content.
