*Puts guns for sales* *United States immediately buys it* Why am I not surprised? I'm laughing hard at them being the first ones to buy it without hesitations.
Hey Stak, I just managed to pull off a hilarious communist Mexico run where I rushed the International Struggle focus and trained a bunch of 1-brigade divisions, then sent a bunch of volunteer divisions to Republican Spain and managed to not only drag the Spanish Civil War out, but actually WIN it for the Republicans with Trotsky. Thanks for finally getting me to take the plunge and play Mexico.
I have played and recreated Gran Colombia and played as Mexico after watching your videos, what I would suggest is use paratroopers, they worked very well on both my runs as Venezuela and Colombia respectively, because you can capitulate them super easy. Just draw the units into a fake front so they move out of their victory points and drop them. The only country this will not work with is Peru, as it's too large to get in one drop, but you can use them to encircle them
this was hilarious. you got so far only to be screwed up by Japan. please try this again! i gotta see if it can actually work if the world is more favorable
I just discovered Mexico and how fun it is to play, just wanted to randomly try a medium country. I also went down the southern invasion route, historical focuses off. I waited a bit too long, Guatemala and co. were guaranteed by the US. I figured I'll try to capture the first four quickly before USA can react (Americans were fighting in Europe and Asia at the time) and then I can redirect my forces while having more states to strengthen my industry. Everything went quite well, I was victorious in the south and my northern front was holding nicely despite USA trying some small attacks. But then I realised that my navy is not sufficient. I'd focused on spamming submarines and they worked well but the enemy had naval supremacy pretty much everywhere around Mexico and my trade grinded to a halt and production suffered greatly. Now I don't know whether it is worth the trouble to continue, it's really hard to build a stronger navy from scratch without iron and it's also hard to wage war against the US without proper production. Maybe I'll just have another go now that I'm familiar with Mexico's focus tree and mechanics and I can use some of your tricks. Thanks for your videos! They are a really nice balance of entertainment and info while being relatively short. Some HOI RUclipsrs don't really explain what they are doing, your style is helpful when learning the game (I have over 300 hours but yes, I'm still learning new things from every video).
So from my experience, as soon as a weapon's tech becomes obsolete, the AI really doesn't want to buy it. You have "better" luck if you turn your price down to low, but I did a traditional Fascist Japan run this week where I couldn't sell my outdated NAV bombers to Germany or Italy -- even though they had a deficit and I had the price set to low. As soon as I put my modern stuff up though? Orders within a week.
Ok I was definitely not expecting the japanese intervention on the second mexican revolution, that might be a good alt-hist idea. Like when France aided the conservative side in the Reform War and put an austrian prince in charge of Mexico
The greatest thing happened when I was playing Mexico ahistorical, I was in a war with USA because they guaranteed Venezuela and then Venezuela joined a random alliance with France that was at war with a beefy Italy that got like half of the British empire and the other half of the British empire, France capitulated and I had enough vps to annex all of France and to take their navy, then I beat Venezuala and the us and annexed all of them
You can integrate the central americans as puppets. Just nees to control one state to take the focus. Yiu can net 10 factories from each that wayThe carribean has ti be directly owned
It's too bad that the profits of selling weapons in real life isn't used for building schools, hospitals, infrastructure and welfare, but find its way in pockets of CEOs, politicians, and executives
so i dont know if its ever happened to you stayuki but im doing a current run and while spain was having a civil war, another faction called the spanish commune popped up and now i can send 3 support the left convoys and double the xp gained from that exploit
More video like this. Minor nations on non historical. Many times being playing a minor nation doing my thing expanding my lands and then someone joins the allies or the axis and everything goes to hell.

Man as soon as the DLC dropped I knew Mexico was coming! Tried this myself the day after launch and man is it fun! Thanks amigo!
as someone who lived 6 years in Mexico, I can say this guy has a better grasp on politics and how to run a country than most mexican politicians

Idea: hoi4 but all focuses are chosen by an AI
Add the fembavaria mod in as well and see what fresh hell happens.
That's a great idea
Or even better, just do random dice for maximum chaos
@@teamcyeborg we need both...
The new dlc is so interesting

Unfortunately, you cannot smuggle horses, so this path gets a 1/10.
It's Mexico, we should be smuggling donkeys anyway.
I agree.
Or bicycles. Can't smuggle bicycles!

if you like Mexico do a Monarchist Mexico the 3rd Empire to be precise
I really like the way you used a short to promote a video with a short summary! Great job, will check out the vid ❤
Stakuyi is like that one cool uncle.
I have not clicked on a video faster since the last oversimplified upload
You were sooo close. If only it wasn't for the revolution. I'd watch a second attempt.
The funny part is that a lot of mexican rifles end up in Germany in ww1 as a stop gap till they make more of their own rilfe.
Who would have thought the lord of war was actually The Lord.
I sent this to my mexican friend
He keeps saying “Im Spanish”
Idk what language that is but in assuming he said “wow cool”
When I saw the latest patch I thought that turning historical focuses off would make my computer melt. This video is sponsored by air Mexico!

Hmm yes the resurgence of pax Mexicania 🇲🇽 🗿👌😎👍
I will get this new DLC for sure, the game needed
ironically it's the opposite where America does the arms trafficking to Mexico irl
Your fave? Mexico. Hands down.

I think you should have formed some allies and gotten a few of them to rely on you supplying them, so you woukd have a guaranteed buyer.
Not sure if any country has bonuses to train production but using the market and only producing trains could be wild.
ima try this today sounds like a hella good idea
I have an idea for an alt history video, what if britian along with Cape Town and sirlanka kept the Dutch colonies in Indonesia
When you're democratic, puppetting makes supervised states which you cant steal factories from without war reps
Greece game when day#1
Id like to see you give this another go. Maybe do a multi player run

Was there for the stream where the mod made a mess of your plans.
Your failures are interesting and informative.
Japan naval invading from the fucking ATLANTIC is hilarious.
