So 8 printers.. do you end up falling behind on jobs because of how long many take to print? What about multi color.. do you charge a lot more for those since they tie up a printer 4x longer than one color prints? Do you ship stuff every day so one of you takes the packaged paid for products to the shipping place.. I assume not too far away?
we now 10 printers due to demand. we just keep scaling the printers as the demand increases. yes our multi colour prints are more and then custom text is more again (due to labour involved, re slicing, re colouring etc) ... time is money .. Auspost comes to our factory every day to pick up orders.
@3DPROMelbourne which build plate? Petg hf sticks onto my bambu textured pei plate abit too much and I feel like I'm damaging it when I remove prints. Any tips?
@@MaxJasniewski we use the same. we just them the cool down to remove prints. for our 10 printers (now) we have 20 build plates so we can swap the printers as soon as they are done with new plate
Very cool print farm setup. Hoping to one day set up my own.
thanks legend! im sure you will get there!
Which racks are you using?
just some no brand ones from a local store in Melbourne. Just a importer. cheap but good quality
