Maybe a video for each set of faction ships at the tiers? Or conversely the faction ships at specific shipyard levels? Grouping ships together to cover more of them?
Having gotten a Tribune myself, I made the goal of getting it back when I was still ops 32, so I planned accordingly and did everything I could do to increase my daily faction credit income. Yes some were increased by primes, but most came down to daily work with Away Teams and the Borg Refinery. If you know that you really want or have to have a 50 ship, the sooner you start planning for it, the easier it is to get.
Problem with g4 epics is that they are way too expensive. They dont add much power vs g4 rares. You are only a few months away from getting unc g5 ship. So might aswell hang onto the credits and get a g5 which at t1 will have like 2-3 times the power. If they cut the cost to half than it would be worth it. Now about battleships, i pefer an interceptor over a battleship or explorer anytime. Maybe not the best in pvp but it gets your dailys done faster. Good for grinding hostiles with. I think overall interceptors are better in everything. With the amount of new hostiles you need to grind, you dont want to be running a battleship with its slow speed.
Rev did say in his stream over the weekend that he was going back and redoing a number of his G3 ship videos. I loved my Gladius back in 32. It carried me a long way. That was a few years ago now, so it depends on how long you plan on being in that Ops range as to if it will be good to build the 32 Rares.
Grats Rev! I am saving for one of those ships also. I am currently at 49, getting all my research done. Putting my ATA credits into the Trib, I am at 110 / 650 bps. My Rom Credits I am holding onto, not sure if I am going to dump them into a Nova or the Trib. My 53 ship I am going for is the Vorcha.
congrats on the ship. I would have started spending ata credits on 6 Tribune months ago if the Xindi and Silent hostiles were around but I went ahead and sped up getting newton bps, but now ops 52 looking forward to the corvus because of the higher warp range. I think the Tribune is a nice ship to hold over till the g5 rares and cheaper to run than g5 ucs. I will eventually get one in ata store as the mission to give out credits come out, right now thinking corvus at 53 and sanctus at 56.
Chakotay/Miles/Georgiu...I've hit the 40 shot barrier. The untold upside of having a tribune is that it shortens armadas. Fewer rounds=less damage to spread around with your team.
I was struggling with Silent hostiles until I used Picard+Bev and Tyler/Ent E Data with a maxed Neelix on the Tribune. I watch G5s fly in hit a few, die, and return and I'm still going on the same hull, its not a loot crew but I can get a max pull on one trip. Tribune with Sisko+Miles+Tyler can easily handle level 60 Borg and Dominion armadas and effortlessly solo the level 52 uncommon G5 armadas. It treats armadas like hostiles, I usually can do 4-6 G5 solo before people show up and jump in and I'm at ~80% hull remaining. The damage output is truly absurd.
I'd wanted a Tribune since I saw one in game when the first whale on my server to hit 50 got one. I just love the look of all the rom ships. Mine's slowly working up. I was going for t6 only due to cost before the cube. I'm now taking her to t9 for another shot. Stopping at t8 for the cube part is just silly.
Dude, Op50 has been amazing for me and literally building my Augur this weekend. Been a grind for sure but being in a whale alliance where players who once passed on G4 epics have gone back and built them for the craic, it is amazing. Worth maximising Bajor etc for parts and mats at 50 until you get the Tribby to T9 with 400% shots for sure. Only issue is the lean sourcing for Neelix. All the epic battleships really would benefit from him having better sourcing.
Before they released Freeman, i decided to go for the Heghta, because it was a PVP beast with the ST Crew. I then went to pull 1-2 BPs every day from the Away Team Store and now i am at 206 BPs while i already have a T4 140m Vorcha and the ST Crew is borderline useless. Until Silent Enemies arrived i actually planned to go OPS 55, already have it in the cooker, but now i will miss out on the Temporal Exchange Double Pulls if i do that, which is stupid.
Hi Rev, very nice vid. I have the tribune and also the enterprise A and i must say: The Ability of the tribune is really next level. The only Problem is, that the enterprise A base stats got so high up, my Enterprise A has 75 million more shield and 30 million more hull and around 4 million more DMG per round. That is a lot more to be compared to such an ability. The only Problem is, that with Sisko or Chakotay crew, you only double the standard amount of shots not the increased amount, and so my tribune goes from double the damage compared to the enterprise A only to around 30 % more dmg against armadas, by only having half the survivability. therefore they have to up some stats on the tribune, or let Miles and chakotay increase the complete amount of shots not the base amount
Have the Tribune and Enterprise A both T10 and don't regret it because now at level 55 with a T6 Corvus as my lead ship I still enjoy the Enterprise A and Tribune and not worried about my progress anymore. I do love the Tribune's burning ability that triggers extra shots.
This is what I plan to do. I like both a lot. Not really a fan of the Hegh'ta though, so unless I just end up with a free one I don't think I will get it. I did the same for the Enterprise and Augur. Ended up getting a free D4 so I have that too but its only like tier 6.
@joshuas193 comparing the two Enterprise A and Tribune. My rare Bev Gorkon and Khan in Enterprise A easily as good if not better than Tribune (Chakotay The Doc and PG) on a level 52 uncommon Armada. Both great ships Enty A has nearly 3 million more DPR per round in specs. However l have forbid tech booster on Enty A for Armadas and Cloaking booster on Tribune an attack on PVP big boost in Damage output. I have them both because l like them both.
Mines between hegh’ta and the tribune which I’ll get first like to collect them all but I liked the D4 the underdog imo and it could run rings round an augur at hostile grinding
Just start doing ship reviews, from the bottom up. Maybe group them into sets of 3 (2*, 3* Common, 3* Uncommon (28s), 3* Uncommon (30s), 3* Rare, etc.)

People are always asking me why I don't Ops up faster, why I'm still at 35. It's because I'm working my ships and research. My D4 is done, and just starting on my Enterprise; but they (and the Augur) have to carry me all the way to 42/43, so they definitely need to be maxed.
Went with the augur in g3 and missed enterprise that time around this time I am going ent-a 90bps so far all with ATA credits. Going to get the 4* epic so I can actually level my borg cube as I suspect there will be a need for it at some point.
@@carlwilliams3488kinda does document it, description of the upgrade widget says "Claim the Borg Data Node Tier 8 from the refinery after upgrading the Tribune, ent-a or heghta to tier 4. Reach a requirement for any future borg data node will also grant this resource" They don't tell you what the future upgrade requirements are, you need to find that out by other means.
I watch a lot of your videos. When you do these videos, you show battle logs of the level of your ships and officers. The results don't show what a lower level players with lower level ships and officers. You get totally different results. What would be nice is if you did videos showing lower level players results with their level ships and officers. Most if not all your videos. Show results of higher level players and ships. A lot of players don't have the strong ships or officers you do. I appreciate that you do these videos. I have learned a lot. Thank you .
Yes but they're extremely rare and you probably won't need them by the time you're grinding those systems I locked klingon (15b) and I think I got a total of about 10 from grinding. They were also in this past event store but I'm sure the cost was too high. I didn't look.
Tribune is the daddy of g4 epics however I have decided to go back and build an ent a, why? Well it's the easiest to upgrade of all the epics because of the jelly events and means I can work on my cube quicker. Yes possibly a waste of a lot of faction creds but I won't take the corvus past T4 so this is probably the quickest and easiest way to get another powerful ship and my corvus is an explorer, cube a battleship and talios an interceptor so I should be good before I start planning G5 rare territory
Okay allow me to ask the opposite question, then - are we still suggesting a second 46 or is it better to save credits since we don’t spend as long at each level anymore?
I am 26 BP from it I am using a type of messaged credit hack to give me almost 2K faction credits from messages. I am using dailies to give my almost by using them to take me over the limit to claim the next level of messages credits every day I can do a double pull of messages.
@@ConversationsWithColby when you are at the 1 billion lock you have 700 credits pull using your messages when you go up to the next 100 million I think or million you get 1,000 credits pulling 1700 a day from messages
i personally skipped the g4 epic and tried to power through as fast as possible to the g5 uncommon because the power spike there is a lot bigger and more helpful in the game. i slowly got my g4 epics in the away team store. 650 shards is a big fn deal and buying the ship out with faction credits is also a waste imo (compared to the g5 uncommon) so depending on your playstyle i would recommend to skip the lvl 50 ships and - try to get to 53 as fast as possible (also skipping researches along the leveling) - dont waste 1M faction credits for a g4 epic and get the g5 uncommon for 450k instead (better deal for a ship with a lot more benefits. warp range, punch, long term use etc.) - get the g4 epic slowly but surely via the away team store for free edit: also rev mentioning repair cost on g5 uncommons.. yes, they are more expensive to repair. BUT theres quite some efficiency research for 5 star now in the game AND keep in mind with you being level 53, you also have access to more resources than you have at level 50.
I'm level 41. I've been playing since 2019. I think I could be level 50 by the end of 2026. I predict Scopely will continue to make leveling faster. I'm counting on it.
I skipped the 50 ships, initially, and they are completely obsolete due to Freebooters and the average players on older servers. If you are one of the first to 50 on your server, go for it. Your Faction Credits are way more valuable towards a Nova and 53 ship. However, I am slowly earning one through the Away Team Store.

I still use my tribune for dailies at level 59. One quick tip to acquire the 4* epic ships is to use away team credits to aid in acquisition.

It's a pumped up Augur, same crews apply. Might as well use those away team credits if you have the rest of the G4's you wanted

Rev, you should run Sisko, Miles, Georgiou for your armada crew on the Tribune. Georgiou has a much better burning chance than Nelix below deck.

I'm ops 46 and in the process of getting my Tribune BPs. I'm sitting at 181 BPs already.
I’ve got two G5 uncommons, and will prob get a Tribune anyway. Damage output stays really high, even once you have a G5 rare.

fwiw, I believe you can still level the borg cube if you get a g5 uncommon ship to T4.

I think G4-G6 you should get at least one ship at each faction level (42/46/50/53/etc.)
