Apparently the highest amount of damage scored in a single battle this year was in the Ohio. I think that just reinforces how powerful the Ohio is as a battleship.
The Ohio is the reason why I haven't been in a hurry to pursue Vermont. I do plan to obtain it this year but I have not been in a hurry because I got the Ohio in Dec, '23...and it is that good. I feel bad for those who missed it.
Doesn't the Ohio have issues with range? I could've sworn I heard someone say she's more a mid range battleship or something. But what do I know? I'm still new to this all.
I don’t have any issues with Ohio at long range. She’s the most accurate battleship at legendary tier, objectively speaking, and Ohio can pen over 600mm of armor at max range if I’m not mistaken. I think what they meant is that Ohio excels at medium range, not that it’s unreliable at range. Regardless, battleships generally speaking have a very poor impact on the battle when they are trying to snipe enemies from the maximum possible distance. You see it a lot lately with BBs trying to engage enemies from the back of their spawn and they usually end up losing.
I watch all your videos and I am curious, it appears you squeeze and hold the trigger/fire button instead of the quick double pull. I am Xbox, but I remember watching a video on the 3 ways to fire the turrets which is 1.) Squeeze & hold 2.) Press the button one at a time firing one turret at a time and 3.) The quick double press, supposedly the most accurate. #2 I only use when firing at DD’s, and each CC I watch seems to either do #1 or #3. Your thoughts?
I don’t even really know. I’ve been playing the game for 5 solid years, so the controls are just sort of ingrained in me. I think I mostly fire full salvos with the double press. Squeezing and holding does the “ripple fire” thing where each turret fires in sequence after the other, and that’s probably something you’d only do on things with a fast rate of fire like DDs or cruisers. Firing one by one with each button press is, some experts claim, the “most accurate” way of doing it, but two things to consider there: Each turret, as I understand it, essentially performs its own dice roll every time you fire it to determine the dispersion of the shells or the overall accuracy. If you have 4 turrets on a ship, it’s essentially four dice rolls, right? Well, what would the difference in the results be if you roll the nice all at one time with a full salvo, or if you roll the dice one after the other by firing each turret individually? Still four dice rolls either way, so essentially the same results. The only way it’s “more accurate” is if you get a bad dice roll on one turret and all the shells miss, and then a better one on the next shot. Or maybe the target is maneuvering and you miss them with one turret, so then fire the second and account for their maneuver. I don’t know if that answers your question, but those are the immediate thoughts I have.
It should be a free ship. Jinan or Austin will probably be 30,000,000 credits in the store but Hindenburg should be a free bureau project if I had to guess, considering it succeeds the Roon in the tech tree.
Nope, ba Montana wins hands down. Just like Massachusetts at ti we r 7. The utility, speed, and accuracy is just far better. Ohio, is great don't get me wrong, but Montana is just better imo. Then again, this is like comparing California and Arizona. I'd use either.
@@scubasteve2169 well in game and paper it does, and I’d take accuracy over damage any day honestly and I have a full Arthas build with AL NJ. Massachusetts B is my most played ship by far so I know plenty about her, sacrifice slight dispersion for better secondary range
hmmmm, idk what your talking about xark, clearly ohio is not good becuase it has only 8 guns and your an american bias 🗣🗣💯, this match was clearly a lucky match the enemy team was an idiot ohio is bad 💯
Great match, sir. The OCD in me wanted you to use the secondary consumable so badly, lol.
Ohio still holds the crown
🫅
Hell yea brother ohio is the king
It can do speed and or secure or fast reload or dispersion build or many others. Ohio has versatility

Bravo for all you've done!
Let s Lauria...👀💪
Accurate 457’s, secondaries, and armor. Hard to beat frankly.
Very fast reloading 457’s and secondaries as well. Ohio’s secondaries are nearly twice as fast as the Massachusetts.
Absolutely love this battleship. Not gonna be able to swing the Lauria but I'd like to see that one too, GG👍
You can in fact obtain the OHio I received her in a Spectral 5 crate. GG as well
Make it Rain 💸

Ohio is the GOAT, but Vermont is a lot of fun.
Another great video, thanks.
Abdullah 😅 your got a great sense of humor. 😊
Ohio is awesome as long as the guns cooperate u can do great consistent damage. It has the most versatile builds kinda like Massachusetts

The undisputed, pound for pound, heavy weight champion, OHIO!!
Ohio excels at quite a few things, has many strengths and its weaknesses are very few.

All turret salvos*

1:15 yes pls
I got the Ohio 2 weeks after starting a second account. I don't even have a good commander yet.
How much do you think WG will charge for the Hindenburg? I'm guessing 100,000 doubloons. Seems fair.
It should be a free ship. Jinan or Austin will probably be 30,000,000 credits in the store but Hindenburg should be a free bureau project if I had to guess, considering it succeeds the Roon in the tech tree.
Shame i couldn't unlock the Ohio. Imo the best Italian bb is c colombo.
O how Colombo has fallen. Nerf stick did her dirty.
Yikes xarkun, stirring ppl emotions saying that about lauria. Ha but ohio for me.
It’s a great ship, but whales are trying to make it out to be better than it already is because they spent $400 on it.
I think lauria is like top 5 but not the best . Lauria is good because of sap which can hurt Yamato no matter how much it angles
Let's be real here... It's GK
😅 - excellent humor, my friend
GK is great, don't get me wrong, but unfortunately she's not nearly the best. This is coming from THE German warship enjoyer of all time
Who is THE German warship enjoyer of all time?
@moonytheloony6516 It's obviously me ofc 🥸
Trolling at elite lvl....
Yeah those pay to play are great 🙄
Nice to see someone not doing a full accuracy build kinda hard to see a difference. I still do it on some boats but often question if it's worth it

Alabama has better accuracy then Massachusetts though
Maybe you’re right. I wasn’t even thinking of BA Montana when considering all the BBs at the tier
@ciroc_lobster4052 maybe on paper, but my mass does more damage.
