It was my 1st game that I purchased and played for my PS1 on launch day.... and it completely blew me away! I even had a 3DO and thought it was trash. This game truly felt like an evolution in gaming 😎

Yeah, the music is pretty much the highlight in this series. Fun fact: Japanese version has different OST, which sounds more synthesised and not really exciting, and IMO pretty unfinished as well.
@@RaivopI was going to say that, soundtracks in PAL version sound much better than the Japanese version (something weird, because usually Japanese version games are generally better than US/EU versions). The best soundtracks: Kayin's, Gaia's and Sho's (Sofia's and Duke's best versions are in Battle Arena TohShinDen 2) 🖤
This game has serious combo potential! Light normals can string and you can 2-in-1 into specials from strong normals. It's also possible to buffer the hyper moves in combos. This game had some solid gameplay that was scrubbed out with Toshinden 2, which I still enjoyed. Toshinden 1 looked, sounded and played the best. Toshinden 2 does have a superb soundtrack + roster tho. I want Cupido added into PS1 Toshinden and Toshinden 2(+) 🙏
Beat the game with Fo, once you got that spinning thing down when he’s on top going yayayayaya. Ahhh the memories But I never fought sho, how did you fight him? Is it for the hardest difficulty only?
