Well, that really depends on the state you are testing in. You should contact them and ask them what edition of the NEC are they testing on.

Greetings - Well since the 2020 or 2023 programs don't expire I believe it can. It also allows you to go at a slower pace to really absorb the content.

We have courses for both. These free versions are 2020 NEC but that should not affect its use on 2017 or 2023 editions as well, while the reference may be different the code language will be similar. After all....its FREE...
