Bundy didn't get a push in the WWF until he went to WCCW and made a name for himself. When he was in the WWF he was a jobber.
In the territory days, local wrestlers were used as enhancement talent. Then they would go to other territories, make a name, return with a push
Ron Shaw was the Masked Executioner in 80/81
The Ron Muraco is referring to is Ron Shaw. Shaw is the one that had David Sammartino's last match in the WWF.
They were midcard at best.Add to the fact that Roma thinks that he was bigger talent than anyone in wrestling!
Bundy and also Bam Bam Bigelow
Both of those guys had major runs in AWA and elsewhere before coming back East. Big difference. Vince loved buying stars, not developing them.
They were way too small.
