To me, the suitcase feels like the emotional baggage they've been carrying around since their hearts were broken, and the general storyline is them eventually getting rid of that baggage (letting it explode, then throwing it in the pool). So the stuff inside the suitcase is everything from the debut trilogy, and this is a continuation of that story, with the implication that their romantic first serenade did not go well. The burning houses, then, are also a metaphor for them trying to move on from everything inside the suitcase. I love this mv sooo much, it's so intricate and detailed. gotta love rigend film.
I love how in this group every member have their own particular individual vibe but somehow they blend soooo well,they have such a strong presence/personality.
I was patiently waiting for a reaction because I personally don’t think there could’ve been a more perfect first comeback than this! I find their biggest strength to lie in their acting and storytelling-their ability to convey and express their songs as well as they do, both sonically and in their performances/stages. As you’ve mentioned, I think theatrical is the best way to define the manner they present themselves! Even the way all of their songs progress are somehow distinctive, akin to the literal progression of a story.

On first listen i only liked the ending part, but that all changed after reading the lyrics and seeing their choreo. Plus their stage presence! These boys are honestly WOW. Now it’s my favorite song of theirs and one of my top songs of the year.

Jaehyun is the main rapper but he was actually trained to be a vocalist, but since his previous company didn't accepted his raps he decided to train by himself with some other rapper guys and he's a great vocalist and a very cool rapper lol

my personal interpretation of the song is that the guys traveled from korea to america to be with their crush. They started a part-time job at the American Diner for her and as dates they went out to a sports match at the stadium, watched movies together and went to the amusement park. Now, after the breakup, they hate everything they went through together: the part-time job, the kiss time at the stadium, the movies, the teddy bear (maybe won at the amusement park) and the suitcase that accompanied them on this trip. Now they just want to break everything off because they feel hurt and destroyed by her. I'm curious to see how the story line will evolve in the next comeback.
This is SOTY for me.. no other song compares ❤ They have definitely grabbed my attention with this comeback. I wasn't big on their debut song, but this one has everything.. the vocals, visuals, choreography, music.. it's all so good and I can't get enough 😍

I’m so pleased that you enjoy BND! I think they are underrated and are my favorite 5th gen boy group. This comeback was SO angsty, which is why I loved it. Everything they have put out is connected and has a specific point of view. But I do think it’s funny that you weren’t able to connect that the luggage was the emotional baggage of the relationship. And you were almost there connecting the debut videos to this video. They are so upset with this break up that they decided to “burn down” everything about those debut videos - her house, the donut shop where they’d meet up, etc. Also, the word stabbed into Sungho’s heart was “ruined” 😅
