It's unfortunate that, since Brexit, Banggood has ceased to be the useful resource that it used to be for the UK. So many products can't be shipped and everything else becomes uncompetitive once EU Priority Line postage is added. Although I won't be able to buy one of these, I use my Bush Mule for FPV occasionally and intend to add pan and tilt at some point since your two Arduino head tracker videos.

You should look at the Finwing Albabird twin - we have 5 at our site, best compact FPV plane on the market.

Always love your reviews. I've learned alot over the past few years as I got into the FPV hobby. I fly main quads but this has piqued my interest. I want something with spars in the wing as I slide it together to the main body. Flight controller, room for a GoPro at the front.

horizontal tail looks just like the finwing albabird, right down to the mold marks. this does look like something I will try....love the albabird so this slightly larger whale might be worth a try. I'd probably order the albabird motor/ESCs

Unfortunately I think THEY depend on reviews like yours to, in essence, do the documentation for them. Nice review. Needs a ton of upgrades, like you mentioned, to be acceptable. Seems like this would be a prototype to get users inputs before a final product.
I really enjoyed being part of the team designing the ZOHD AR Wing PRO as it ended up with more of the basics covered for the modern hobby. I hope more manufacturers will seek input from the community for their new models in future... Happy flying

How does it compare to other twin engine models, like the Binary? I would love to hear a recommendation on which twin engine to buy in the conclusion of your maiden video.
I need to see how this would fly but the binary would be my pick at this point. It depends what you want it for as things like the Bush Mule is a nice 'plane..
crosswind or albabird seem to be the best twins

Google 'OB connector 10 8 6 multi-wire servo extension plug for RC fixed-wing aircraft multi-axis aircraft' I hope that helps.
Which one do you recommend for the prop rotation direction? Inward or outward?
Both work but I prefer the props to not throw things into the side of the model on landing. I've had a few models take damage when the prop has hit small stones into the foam..
@@Painless360 so which one make it not throw the tit? :) Do you mean you prefer "outward"?
Whichever makes the prop move away from the body at the bottom of the rotation.. :D
on launch (not first time) I crash my AR Wing Pro (enough) do you think Killer Whale is the good replacement
It depends on what you want this is a floaty, large model.. Happy flying

I spent too much time fixing AR after failed launches but its flying great
This should be ok for that. Not sure about flying in that high wing, it has plenty of thrust but it is built like a brick..

The price is far too high: 150 € kit / 220 € pnp + 35 € shipping
A no go for me. I can wait till they have lowered the prices again and till then they do not make any money. Feels like out of nowhere they have an argument to raise the prices cause they did not use Suez Canal for direct sales. My order volume is just 30% of last year.
The linkage of the flaps and aileron tend to bend as you had shown too and the servos do not seem to be in right position cause the angle of attack of a linkage should be vertical to the hinge axis to deliver max. force from the beginning.
Again lot of tiny and simple points (like a place for the gps mount - even though then not everybody might love that spot) that look easy to fix but they will most likely not fix - except ZOHD and a few others.
The increase prices do mean that some of the local stores can now stock models and compete on price. Until recently most of the resellers I know wouldn't touch a model that Banggood were stocking as they couldn't sell them. We could see some of the hobby move back to local suppliers over the coming months as a result.. Happy flying

I bet it doesn't, I thought the same of my twin (albabird) with the stock motors but it's crazy how easy it launches and how much it will carry. this should be similar.

@@Painless360 my ts16 is delayed:( can I use my x-light. I got binded crossfire. Fallowers your vid💪👊 but the switches don't work? I kept radio on TAER but mixes right. Throttle.. Just no switches? You tube night.. lol looking so forward to This.. should I conformal coat? Seems like a must?? Plus I've never flown a plane/Wing lol I'll use the Force! Thanks for any tips? God bless
I don't use conformal on any of my flying models. But then I don't fly in the rain or land in water (if I can help it!) :D
Something g new, good to s ratch . Just heard the news of, the royal family's loss, stranger this yank felt his eyes tear. I might say the emotion was for the queen. My father was one of many troops seen off by the princess, he remembered that throughout the war, he said it kept him going, he made it through ... which was good for me . Not sure but her seeing the boys off, was brave and I am sure hard ... thus today I am sadden at her loss for which there are no words.
