    Always a good use of my time, painless360 ... thought I'd add that there's an app, called MotoCalc - that is a great help at picking out power trains for planes.

    Simple question: fixed wing always means plane ... but wing alway means single wing and never plane ?
    I am pretty sure that you use the word wing not for plane, but others mixed it up
    I am confused when wing is used as plane - we call it literaly translated "one wing" or "only wing"

      I always try to use the term 'fixed wing' to refer for all types of fixed wing aircraft. Flying wings or'wings' are just one type. I guess if you only fly wings then both could mean the same... Happy flying
