Man it's an honor as always to work with you! The crazy ideas you come up with always make for a fun project! We gotta run again together soon, bro!! ❤🔥✨
ANY time you and your lads are welcome on these rails brother man! ❤️🔥🙏 Thank you so much for everything you do again brother and for always being there to work some magic!! :)
I’m surprised that nobody has ever made an 0-6-0 James until now, considering how his irl basis is an 0-6-0. Awesome model as always! I’ve been looking forward to this ever since you first posted about it. Glad to finally see a full video about it.
It's hilarious that you fixed his weight distribution by putting a whole lot of weight in the front end, when an overly-heavy front was exactly what the class 28s suffered from that made TFC give him the pony truck in the first place haha. I adore how this looks bravo to you both
For some reason, I thought this was the AEG James you unpacked turned into a model Because of the squished size and different size chasis - I love this tiny James! Oh, and to be fair... Wooden Railway James has been a 0-6-0 for years
The noise in the background during certain shots legitimately made me worried that I was developing schizophrenia. Other than that, great vid, and the model looks great, too!
been following the development of this guy for a while, awesome to finally see him get his own video. Without that extended front James does look so much smaller, no wonder he's so mad. Awesome model, you and TrainStorm are amazing
Who's to say he's not actually based on an 'Austrian Goods' engine from the Glasgow and South Western Railway? They were 2-6-0s who unfortunately all got scrapped
Nice looking 'what if' model of James. Imagine what he would look like as a 0-6-0 like the real thing. Despite there were some actual drawings of the 2-6-0 tender engine, but they never went for it.
Bachmann's model for James, and more specifically the TVS prop, makes it look like James was built as a Mogul from the start, even though the RWS illustrations depicted James as a Mogul before his accident rebuild, and that always bothered me/got me thinking of what James would look like as a plain 0-6-0. Now, your wonderful model has given me a clear image and another reason to try and make one for myself for the fun of it. Of course, this means James officially loses his place in the big engines trio.
A great model of a cursed concept. Also, it's nowhere mentioned that James originally came as an 0-6-0 in the IOS book, or RBTL, so should I really trust HIT's attempt? Especially when it makes the mistake that he became a 2-6-0 after his accident, where the original illustration shows him being such before it occurred? Seems to me like it was sHIT's attempt to mention his basis being an 0-6-0, but it ended up causing an error.
I absolutely adore the idea of an 0-6-0 James and honestly this is probably one of the best James models I’ve ever seen! He’s just a silly little guy!! Oh and fuck UPS there shipping sucks anyways
this is a good in canon thing james used to be a 0-6-0 but after his first day crash his front was so damaged it had to be rebuilt and STH wanted to do a "experiment" from make james from a 0-6-0 to a 2-6-0
What about rebuilding models of Donald and Douglas as 2-6-0s for your layout? After all the Glasgow and South Western Railway (in Scotland) once had a type of steamers with this wheel arrangement otherwise known as the 'Austrian Goods' type
My oh my another cute and charming engine. What’s next an Atlantic Gordon? Skarloey as a tender engine. What ever cursed, yet charming engine will you unveil next?
Are you gonna do a cured DOWT model I noticed that blue class 40 in the background just an idea but you should have some circle faces printed and stick them on a few diesels
James as 2-6-0 is normal. But this is IRL and TVS Accurate. So it is a decent little model. Plus Shipping is getting more ridiculous everyday. I feel you
So, after his wooden brake blocks caught on fire in the RWS, why did The Fat Controller (or whatever you wanna call him) have the front wheels added to James?
James mainly being a 0-6-0 is a very interesting idea. James looks so cute along side Percy Their models look like they were squished down and made it work. Fantastic video and model
I think James looks a little bit too short. If you were to extend the body and put a longer 0-6-0 wheel Base under him, he would be much better looking as an 0-6-0. But I do think his 0-6-0 configuration is quite wonderful.
Looking at autotrains, which Thomas ultimately was for his branchline, an 0-4-2T or 0-4-4T would fit much better with the driving wheels under the boiler rather than the bunker.
I'm right there with you, Hiro just feels like he belongs on a Sodor layout (regardless of his basis not being built for the UK); I'm honestly surprised Bachmann hasn't made a Hiro for the HO range considering his popularity - I get they have the Bullied Light Pacific and generic 1870s-era 4-4-0s to work with for Rebecca & *_B E A U_* of all things, but Hiro's wheels resembling boxpok or Scullin drivers could help get ahead for Connor and his NY Central Super Hudson brethren

wooden railway motorized
You know I’m a huge fan of this, right?
Wooden Railway accurate James
“Isn’t that right little James!” said Gordon truthfully.
I’m surprised that nobody has ever made an 0-6-0 James until now, considering how his irl basis is an 0-6-0. Awesome model as always! I’ve been looking forward to this ever since you first posted about it. Glad to finally see a full video about it.
Thank you so much Chomo :)
I hope it hasn’t been TOOO annoying with the constant updates on the little guy haha
TrainBoy himself actually made an 0-6-0 James from a Dean Goods before this one
He's now since added leading wheels to make James a 2-6-0, but still
The RWS Accurately proportioned James
James the dope ass engine.
I love this thing. He looks so awesome. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
I can’t wait to run some trains with my BRO again 🥺💪
Thank you so much my dude and be ready to meet this little goon soon hehe
Edward might work as the same model and also why not classic style troublesome trucks
It's hilarious that you fixed his weight distribution by putting a whole lot of weight in the front end, when an overly-heavy front was exactly what the class 28s suffered from that made TFC give him the pony truck in the first place haha. I adore how this looks bravo to you both
It is a little ironic isn’t it- 😅
Thank you so much brother man I’m glad you enjoyed :)
For some reason, I thought this was the AEG James you unpacked turned into a model
Because of the squished size and different size chasis

I love this tiny James!
Oh, and to be fair... Wooden Railway James has been a 0-6-0 for years
I remember James as 0 6 0 when I started watching the show as a adult I had a Mandela effect moment
I actually like it, at first thought it was off putting but grown to like it.
James looks pretty good as an 0-6-0. Beautiful looking model too.
He looks so adorably, impotently furious.
He’s here!
I have to admit, he is a beauty
We need the James child
The noise in the background during certain shots legitimately made me worried that I was developing schizophrenia. Other than that, great vid, and the model looks great, too!
The Black Lining With The White Outline Is Something I Never Thought I Needed To See
1:16 "Why not the best character"
...Ferdinand?
MAN you right 😔
been following the development of this guy for a while, awesome to finally see him get his own video. Without that extended front James does look so much smaller, no wonder he's so mad. Awesome model, you and TrainStorm are amazing
"Why not the Best Character in Thomas and Friends?"
Me, an Edward Fan: "Citation Needed"
That aside, looks Great!
Me and trainboy have the right idea, small engines are best 🤙
Small Engine Policy in full effect on this railway 👀🤣
Now it’s all fun and games until someone makes an 6-6-0 Edward
I got one better, 2-4-0.
@@the25thdoctor I got one better 1-1-0
@@happymark1668 wha?
4-6-6-2 Gordon
@@prairierailproductions6737 oh dear Gordon would be pulling two express trains at the same time
This truly is a splendid model! I love this take on James!
Another absolutely incredible model! You two make absolutely amazing and spectacular work! Great work man ❤
As an 0-6-0 James looks much closer to a Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Class 28 that he seems to be based on.
Who's to say he's not actually based on an 'Austrian Goods' engine from the Glasgow and South Western Railway? They were 2-6-0s who unfortunately all got scrapped
The 0-6-0 looks jealous of the 2-6-0 🤣😢
Nice looking 'what if' model of James. Imagine what he would look like as a 0-6-0 like the real thing. Despite there were some actual drawings of the 2-6-0 tender engine, but they never went for it.
My favorite Thomas character.
James the Tank Engine.
What a cute little James model! Are you gonna do another one like him?
Nice 0-6-0 James!
This man is 100% teasing a d199 with that diesel on the table🤔🤔
When I think of a mid-sized tender locomotive, I think of a 2-8-0. 0-6-0s are like switchers. Once again, British stuff is small.
I know old stuck up might be next, I knew it’s gonna happen.
Btw keeping going dude your gonna need it.
This looks amazing, trainstorm did a great job I this 🚂
The front part off james looks like the James from sodor online
👁👄👁
(The engine part)👁👄👁
Great video now i need to build one of my own this is amazing cant wait to see more trainboy love it
A great model of a cursed concept.

Seems to me like it was sHIT's attempt to mention his basis being an 0-6-0, but it ended up causing an error.
The old stuck up is looking nice
looks pretty funni awesome
I absolutely adore the idea of an 0-6-0 James and honestly this is probably one of the best James models I’ve ever seen! He’s just a silly little guy!! Oh and fuck UPS there shipping sucks anyways
Bro trainstorm you did really did great, I think I could probably see if I can buy one of your models!
This is a very cool concept
Now he’s just the Plarail James!
But his looks better.
this is a good in canon thing james used to be a 0-6-0 but after his first day crash his front was so damaged it had to be rebuilt and STH wanted to do a "experiment" from make james from a 0-6-0 to a 2-6-0
What's the source at 1:58?
What about rebuilding models of Donald and Douglas as 2-6-0s for your layout? After all the Glasgow and South Western Railway (in Scotland) once had a type of steamers with this wheel arrangement otherwise known as the 'Austrian Goods' type
If James is an 0-6-0 then, the Scottish twins should be 0-8-0's.
Why? We need very powerful RWS canon freight locomotives on Sodor.
I haven't seen anyone make a TV series Thomas model with a straight running board like in the later RWS books.
0h n0 jAmEs LosT hIs FrOnT wHeEl!
Oh my.. A blue Diesel locomotive I see? Spamcan or Old Stuck Up?
My oh my another cute and charming engine. What’s next an Atlantic Gordon? Skarloey as a tender engine. What ever cursed, yet charming engine will you unveil next?
"what if James never crashed?" ... Here's your answer.
Awesome video trainboy
Cool
If you ever make a layout based on a realistic sodor location, you could use these engine due to the fact they have some realism in them.
It’s TWR James!
Are you gonna do a cured DOWT model I noticed that blue class 40 in the background just an idea but you should have some circle faces printed and stick them on a few diesels
8:32 Is that old stuck up i see there?
Maybe it's D199
Bro yes another video
I also like james as a 0-6-0 he looks cute this model is very good.
Also we can make the joke about sodor online cursed James
It looks great
Nice James bro
James as 2-6-0 is normal. But this is IRL and TVS Accurate. So it is a decent little model. Plus Shipping is getting more ridiculous everyday. I feel you
glad to see that the deans good james is still around
Isn't he a Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Class 28?
@@evanclarke5561 i'm talking about second james that appears at 1:33
Hey Trainboy, are you gonna upload a video of the Lean James? That model was a beaut!
I LOVE 0-6-0 JAMES
I love it!!😊❤❤
So, after his wooden brake blocks caught on fire in the RWS, why did The Fat Controller (or whatever you wanna call him) have the front wheels added to James?
I think it was to prevent "nosediving" when James travels at high speed, which was apparently a rather common problem for his class
So right but so different
Yes
He looks like the wooden railway battery powered James
James mainly being a 0-6-0 is a very interesting idea. James looks so cute along side Percy
Their models look like they were squished down and made it work. Fantastic video and model
Honestly, an 0-6-0 James would be perfect for most applications, both mainline and branch line.
Gordon: you destroyed my image
James: what do you mean
Gordon: your the size of a tank engine
James: no I'm no-
James: WHATTT!???
What's your favorite custom model you've recieved so far?
brooo, what is that intro song!?
I think James looks a little bit too short. If you were to extend the body and put a longer 0-6-0 wheel Base under him, he would be much better looking as an 0-6-0. But I do think his 0-6-0 configuration is quite wonderful.
Who tf stole his guide wheels
Aeg edward?
That sounds about right 😭
Stubby big engine huh? I don't see him pulling the express now.
"the best character in all of Thomas and friends" what? I don't see Edward. All jokes aside this is a beautiful model!
0-6-0 James is canon to the model series in a book it says James used to be a 0-6-0 but the fat hat made him longer
Bruh having essential tremors is the worst, especially when trying to pick up stuff with a spoon or trying to attach decals
James: But I'm supposed to be a big engine - not small like Donald and Douglas! I don't understand why this has happened to me.
Could you think of doing a 2-4-0 or just 0-4-0 Thomas? I remember seeing Hornby ones so you could use them as some refrence
Looking at autotrains, which Thomas ultimately was for his branchline, an 0-4-2T or 0-4-4T would fit much better with the driving wheels under the boiler rather than the bunker.
Sodor Online Moment:
next is gordon tiny gordon pulling the express would be funny
Huh 0-6-0 james being rear heavy? I wonder why…. (It’s almost as if he was rebuilt to be a 2-6-0 to fix that…)
shipping model trains were bad in the 60-70s my dad said he got a flying scotsman when he was a kid but in the shipping it got broken
Am I the only one who noticed James kinda looks like an Fowler 4F?
Now a 0-4-0 or a 2-8-4.
Next up James the tank engine
I wanna see a j50 thomas
This model is tomy/trackmaster accurate
ruclips.net/video/WnBUn3Hu980/видео.html the smb2 theme we heard
hear me out but what about a black james like in the adventure begins
Pls trainboy, can we call this man little shrimp i beg you
Please call it little shrimp
FINE new nickname acquired 😤🤣
You know he is from the cgi but I would love to see hiro
I'm right there with you, Hiro just feels like he belongs on a Sodor layout (regardless of his basis not being built for the UK); I'm honestly surprised Bachmann hasn't made a Hiro for the HO range considering his popularity - I get they have the Bullied Light Pacific and generic 1870s-era 4-4-0s to work with for Rebecca & *_B E A U_* of all things, but Hiro's wheels resembling boxpok or Scullin drivers could help get ahead for Connor and his NY Central Super Hudson brethren
Its kinda cool i guess?
HO scale TWR james
James does not look happy about being circumcised but he gotta suck it up 🤷♂️
But James looks the most like a k3 engine
