- Segment from "King Leonardo And His Short Subjects," later repeated as part of "Tennessee Tuxedo And His Tales" and "The Underdog Show." This cartoon was listed but not included on the Tennessee Tuxedo "Complete Series" DVD set. Voices include Kenny Delmar (The Hunter), Ben Stone (The Fox, Officer Flim Flanagan).
The voice of the Hunter was provided by Kenny Delmar, who also did the voice for Colonel Kit Coyote from "The Go-Go Gophers" as well as the voice of "Commander McBragg" . . . Quite . . .
DELMAR was one of the stock "voices" for other GAMMA PRODUCTIONS cartoons.
ROCKY AND FRIENDS was a great initial success for the company, airing on ABC. Remember a voice, and it was either JUNE FORAY, PAUL FREES, WALTER TETLEY (late of radio's popular show THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVES) or DELMAR (definitely the voice the moonman GIDNEY) and a few others.l
@@nealbradleigh5069 Wow, I forgot I made that comment. And by the way, you are correct.

As Seen on Black Family Channel
I wonder if the Hunter's horn, was a French Horn, played without a hand in the bell.
It's actually the Horn of Urgency before it got straightened out.

Compared to when The Hunter and King Leonardo shorts were moved to Tennessee Tuxedo series the following year, the designs of the characters are not that good.
Wonder what the Russians think of this.
