The voice of the Hunter was provided by Kenny Delmar, who also did the voice for Colonel Kit Coyote from "The Go-Go Gophers" as well as the voice of "Commander McBragg" . . . Quite . . .

DELMAR was one of the stock "voices" for other GAMMA PRODUCTIONS cartoons.
ROCKY AND FRIENDS was a great initial success for the company, airing on ABC. Remember a voice, and it was either JUNE FORAY, PAUL FREES, WALTER TETLEY (late of radio's popular show THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVES) or DELMAR (definitely the voice the moonman GIDNEY) and a few others.l

Thanks for the insight. any idea where I could get a clean copy of that great bongo/flute ditty used to close each cartoon episode (entrance music for Officer Flym Flannigan)

I wonder if the Hunter's horn, was a French Horn, played without a hand in the bell.

Compared to when The Hunter and King Leonardo shorts were moved to Tennessee Tuxedo series the following year, the designs of the characters are not that good.
