I recall always liking the Miata more than this when I was a kid at this time, and I appreciated the Z4 a lot more but still liked the looks and value of the Miata. Never got to drive one of these BMWs though. I did have a competitor to this in a '99 SLK230K that was okay, looked great and had an excellent hard top but I hated the transmission.
One of my earliest memories of a car I fell in love with. Just remember being in Vancouver and seeing this car. Fell in love with its size and shape. 🤌🏻. Great vid as always.
