but jst asking if fasting is of good acts only and not going without food then why did Jesus fast for forty days remember he told us that we should follow his ways. what i think Isaiah 58 describes what we should do when fasting but not doing only the acts without fasting. For me when am fasting, I seek God's knowledge and forgiveness as the people of nineveh did. So i dont think your right about that. Think of moses the forty days, ester 3days,jona in fish stomach though it had revelation of the 3days of jesus in grave and resurrection but still it was 3days without food. the act of fasting helps us to weaken the body and uplift the soul since both are contrary to each other.

but jst asking if fasting is of good acts only and not going without food then why did Jesus fast for forty days remember he told us that we should follow his ways. what i think Isaiah 58 describes what we should do when fasting but not doing only the acts without fasting. For me when am fasting, I seek God's knowledge and forgiveness as the people of nineveh did. So i dont think your right about that. Think of moses the forty days, ester 3days,jona in fish stomach though it had revelation of the 3days of jesus in grave and resurrection but still it was 3days without food. the act of fasting helps us to weaken the body and uplift the soul since both are contrary to each other.

1 Cor. 14:2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. Notice Paul is writing from the perspective of the one doing the speaking. Paul says that from the speaker's perspective, his own speech is unknowable and a mystery - NOT All Tongues are known by man. Since they are Heavenly Tongues..
