It's Candlestick, I was there. Stones Tattoo You tour. George was the opener, J Geis was next and then the Stones. Probably the greatest triple bill I ever saw, they all fit perfectly together.
A great damn concert tickets for 18.50 drove to pick up my girlfriend in Hollister California and got there at 6:30 in the morning we were at front row to see the whole show till the end at candlestick Park San Francisco California. Freaking awesome concert.😂
my one and only complaint is they're not nearly loud enough. maybe the hollow body will have too much feed back. is it? I forget. saw him around this time, Orpheum Boston. he was young and full of kick (literally), w/ that faithful to form, Chuck Berry duck walk. if you haven't heard the studio version, please do. turn it on, and get out the way.
I'm a huge Stones fan, Keith especially but with all due respect I bet Keith shit his pants every night of the tour knowing he had to follow this guitar playing machine and absolute showman
2022 WOW I have wonderful memories!

Wasn't this the same tour Prince was on too and was booed off stage?
George tore it up. J Giels, not so much…

It’s definitely candlestick. I was there in the east stands with my pregnant wife. Long time ago…
opening for the Stones
Title says Candlestick Park but it looks an awful lot like JFK in Philadelphia.
