The copper head gaskets can be reused, i always use the annealing process where the gasket is heated red to make it soft again. copper gets work hardened and heat will make it new again. just my way!
Kevin,Dale sweger suggested that I contact your site for advise.I have a 71 175 e that has a damaged carb and would like to knpw if I can mount a 1975 carb if I change the intake boot on my 1971 kawasaki 175 E.
What makes this bike boog out at 75 percent of throttle in 4rth gear ?1977 ke 175. Please post , it would help me get straight to the problem . Thank s
Do you have a a website or a place that questions can be asked. I have my old ke175 been trying for years to fix its problems. Simply cannot find anybody that knows what they're doing. Your videos are excellent and obviously you know what you're doing just wondered if you can help I'm in Oregon so that's a little bit far too for me to get to you if you can help sure would appreciate it.
Watching your video you torqued the clutch hub nut 36 ft lb I was informed that the primary gear nut is 36 ft lb and that the clutch hub nut is 61 ft lb was I miss informed please let me know thank you

I would think the disc would be closed?
When the piston moves up valve is open when piston moves down it closes to push the mix up the transfer ports
