I was born and raised In Rahway ( 1943) We lived on Bryant St. went to Roosevelt elementary and of course Rahway High ( we are the Indians, the mighty mighty Indians …) I moved ( to Florida) in 1973 and the only way I visit is through these great videos. Thanks much !
Wish you would have made a right on Irving street . My dad use to own a bar called The Shanty in the 80's. He sold it but nothing was ever done with it. Always seen signs of another bar opening. The story goes that. Before my dad bought it, it was called the Moon Glow. Before that it was a gas station. Whoever bought it from my dad afterwards learned that there were still the gas tanks under ground and they would have to be taken out of the ground. Way too expensive after liquor license and so on. So it still sits there empty since the late 80's
I kind of agree. It’s actually not bad. If I get bored I can relatively easily visit New York or Philly. Overall it’s a great location and so much better than other regions in America. Sort of a best kept “secret”
As always, thanks for posting. I love these videos of NJ. I haven't lived there in a long time, always nice to see how things look now.
Thanks for the video. Rahway Highschool Class of 1990! Brings back memories as I left in 1997. Barbershop on Main Street STILL there!!!!!!!
love New Jersey, my home for life

Rahway is a wonderful place in NJ
The infrastructures there in NJ seam to have improved aver the pass several years. I studied for pharma there.
Enjoy your work. As a suggestion, you might look into the bizarre weirdness as to why I-49 does not and cannot connect to I-70
you passed by my house
