I own this exact model and despite my honest understanding of all the negative comments i love it and wear it night and day. Not taking watches(and yourself) too serious, really helps enjoying this watch.
Thinking of getting a royal, but haven't been able to get hands on with a silver dial, since you have one does the dial look more silver like the bracelet or more a champagne colour which is what it looks like to me on this video?
Its biggest issue is it’s not photogenic. I’ve been thinking about getting one of these instead of a new old stock Prince Date and it definitely looks better in person, love the hidden clasp too
Honestly I believe this is one of the best watches you can get for $3k, I mean what other watch has real solid gold, a day date featuring an automatic movement I mean it looks ugly but at this price point, idk why you all are hating this watch, you guys can explain in the comments on why you hate it, but i say it’s good value for your money.
People insisting that these and other Datejust’esque watches are too sporty and then extolling boring, round, flat, small watches that look like a Timex for a kid as what they’d wear to a wedding... these people are unbearable
I love this watch but they should do a date day in 38mm. I also think they should have put a couple of words at the bottom of the dial, as it is it’s too empty for my taste, aside this personal considerations it is a stunning watch. Can I ask what’s your wrist size?
Something not mentioned: this bracelet is on the small end and will barely fit an 8” wrist. I’m learning the hard way. Extra links are hard to come by as well. Other than that I love it (I have the silver dial w/o diamond accents)
Thinking of getting the 38mm blue dial I have a two tone 36dj but wanted something abit cheaper to wear more often. And you don’t need to go gold for diamonds the stainless steel datejusts have a couple diamond dial variants
lol everyone is hating on these and the crazy thing is that this watch keep its value way better than 90% of the watches in the same price range. Just check the 2nd market and you will see haha
If I had to get one of these, it would be the blue or black dial stainless steel with Roman numerals. But it blows me away show shit the printing on the date wheel is - like any $100 budget watch. They couldn't have tried something that felt a bit more expensive?
Needlessly oversized, integrated bracelet on a style of watch that could look good on leather. The worst part is that they make a 38mm but then they remove the day complication. Not the Date+Day of years past.
I am a big fan of Tudor, owning two of their pieces and love them. Unfortunately, this is a big miss for me, it just does not meld well design wise. I hope they re-invigorate the 76XXX series date day models. they are stunning and are a direct alternative to the Rolex day-date in SS rather than full precious metal.
This horror came out months ago, to everyone’s total disinterest, and you just get it now? Just say it: the point of a President is to signal you’ve made it. The point of this garbage is to signal you’ve given up trying.
Everyone's disinterest must be the reason the blue dial is sold out everywhere and selling over retail on the secondary market. Yeah, that must be the reason. Waiting list on Jomashop, Watchmaxx, no ADs have them. Must be a horrible watch.

Yours is the same dial? Silver?
As a first time buyer of Tudor I’m so happy with my black dial royal day date, and I will
Be purchasing a black bag 58 by the end of 2022
I wasn't keen on this one at all and I've owned a lot of Tudors and still do. This version has actually grown on me a little.
Me too. At first glance I wondered who the hell designed the watch and why. I now own one.
Its biggest issue is it’s not photogenic. I’ve been thinking about getting one of these instead of a new old stock Prince Date and it definitely looks better in person, love the hidden clasp too
I'd like to see the blue dial with diamond markers in the 2 tone case

Believe this watch on the wrist it's beautiful you need to see it in person
I have this watch. Why did this version become so hard to find? This watch is $4500 now if you can find it.
hello, what is the size of your wrist?
People insisting that these and other Datejust’esque watches are too sporty and then extolling boring, round, flat, small watches that look like a Timex for a kid as what they’d wear to a wedding... these people are unbearable
That's awesome
a trick : watch series on Flixzone. Been using it for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Clayton Francisco Yup, I have been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)

I’m pretty excited about the 38mm in black
This is the silver dial yes?
Why do I have the feeling if I get the tudor I'd regret not getting the datejust/day date..
thats the tudor conundrum. why not just buy the rolex? well asides from the 3x minimum price jump
How does it perform in the nights? Does it have a lume to read the time or not?
They have no lume
Lume on the hands only.
Your Wrist size?
What type of diamonds are there
why do you think the black bay costs more?
lol everyone is hating on these and the crazy thing is that this watch keep its value way better than 90% of the watches in the same price range. Just check the 2nd market and you will see haha
Rolex AP collab - cross between daydate and royal oak!
naw thats a vacheron overseas
Is the movement really ETA os sellita that is based of the ETA? The black bays are now using sellita.
Sellita based
@@tombarsens1277 I thought so.
wrong! tudor uses in house movements now. I have a heritage black bay s&g LOVE it. It has their in house movement and it is excellent.
@@xtravyx1 this model is not in house. It is a sellita based movement.

What exactly about it makes the printing shit to your eyes? 🤔🧐 just because it’s black on white or the actual printing itself?
Picked up the same watch but with the black face can't stop looking at it
Love this watch
the blue one in single tone is way way nicer than the 2 tone ones. Its a nice watch at msrp
Datejust 41 rhodium plated or blue dial (perhaps others) has diamond markers in steel so yes you're correct
No word on the movement? Or did I miss it?
There's a mention in the written description.

Stop your whining
It turned out to be something in between a rolexquartz and a date day of the week.)

Looks like a zenith defy
I know it costs more, I would much prefer the Rolex Day Date for size and overall aesthetic.
The bezel is a disqualifier for me as you mention.
15 times more
You can get a steel Datejust with diamonds
That date aperture looks terrible.
Terrible in what way exactly? 🤔
@@AbstractMan23 It's right up agains the III, and it's not even aligned to it properly.
Yes this like
Vacheron 222 vibes.
beautiful watch ruined by horrible dial
Wow!
That’s an incredibly ugly watch.
This is truly the most hideous iteration of this model.
In my very subjective view this is the absolute best version of the Tudor Royal
Wears large.
I like Tudor a lot, but this one is a miss
This horror came out months ago, to everyone’s total disinterest, and you just get it now?
Just say it: the point of a President is to signal you’ve made it. The point of this garbage is to signal you’ve given up trying.
Or the point of any watch is to get it because you like it ? Imagine if we all liked the same watches........
Everyone's disinterest must be the reason the blue dial is sold out everywhere and selling over retail on the secondary market. Yeah, that must be the reason. Waiting list on Jomashop, Watchmaxx, no ADs have them. Must be a horrible watch.
This comment sounds pretty frustrated and narrow-minded…
This is it. The comment that sums up all the issues with the watch community in just one comment.
Let people enjoy shit. Clown.
Looks like a really bad chinese knock-off of a Rolex
The blue one is really cool, like a mix of 5711, DJ, royal oak but still elements from vintage Tudor watrches.
First
So so so bad
All steels, stick indices, blue or black dial and this could be cool. Does this exist? Otherwise I'll leave this one for the lesbians.
REEEEEEEEEE
