He probably just let them have their moment, he doesn't seem the type to be that hype anyway. Agreed they probably should have checked kill feed, and the other two would have survived. Though we got to see Astel go into the zone.
tbf it's his job to point out their mistakes so that it won't happen in the actual tournament. They don't have bloodhound at this point so observing the kill log will give them a rough idea on how many people are actually in that house. i.g Astel called 2 party when there's actually 3 parties there
It means that Mondo took the role of coach seriously. He can just be a goofball like he usually does with Selly around but this time he's being strict for Astel's team sake. at this point who in the right mind thought mad maggie is somewhat not meta? I mean for this tournament, Astel has to be mad maggie to lower his points. and of course mad maggie herself eliminating camping methods with her drill.
Mad Maggie is only good on paper though. The best thing she can do is mildly annoy other teams with her drill and that's it, no utility, nothing. With Mad Maggie on their team they can't run wraith or gibby, both is really good for teamfight as well as for rotation

Its not really weird since astel is focusing more and the fight was intense its pretty normal since astel was focusing on the game and getting in the zone.
If you're not familiar with him, he's usually very hyper-focused during battles like this (and playing MM does require more of his focus from what i've seen, which is why you can see he went pretty much silent after Kotone and Rene got KO'd). And I think if he was to go out of his way to thank them mid-battle we wouldn't have seen this god-ish play (ww). He's also quick to get embarrassed when people compliment him from what I know, so there's that too maybe. (To add: iirc he even told the girls that he went quiet because he was focusing on the battle and not upset at them (which they were a bit worried if he was? i think) )
If you watched most of his clutch clips he tends to be super quiet when he's in the zone. Btw he thank them after that match when he remembered to breathe oxygen again Here's an example: ruclips.net/video/yR_FHNOSX7A/видео.html

Not to discount anyone, but here you can see the frustration coming out of Mondo, seems he's not really familiar with teaching.
Rather than liking astel achievement mondo probably hung up over how they didn't check the log carefully enough and attacked before anyone dropped.
And tbh it's fine since Astel also want to be coached by a pro players, and atm no one is a better person to be asked than the CR members. About Rene and Kotone they're now motivated to improve after seeing what Astel can do. Hope the training result will favor them in tourney.
Astel's team is testing Mondo's teaching limits. Right that Astel should've checked kill feed first.
@@viavlalala4764 this. astel even asked mondo to call him “gomi” if he make another mistake and scold him. (Mondo didn’t do that)
sekarang aku paham kenapa astel perlu nerf
Di-nerf aja masih kaya gini apalagi kalo engga ya wkwkwk
Disney Prince comment uwu
Dang!
at this point who in the right mind thought mad maggie is somewhat not meta? I mean for this tournament, Astel has to be mad maggie to lower his points. and of course mad maggie herself eliminating camping methods with her drill.
Mad Maggie is only good on paper though. The best thing she can do is mildly annoy other teams with her drill and that's it, no utility, nothing. With Mad Maggie on their team they can't run wraith or gibby, both is really good for teamfight as well as for rotation
@@domi8499 I dunno, from what I've seen her drill is annoying enough to make the targeted use more shield batteries. if they don't find a way to get out of their walls and find maggie, they're just sitting ducks.
Challenge: take a shot everytime they say umai
question: Seeing this tournament taking place its really motivating me to get back on playing apex, so is cheating still going on in this game ?
Cheating in competitive games like these is inevitable.
That said, some seasons there are almost no cheaters, others there are way too many. I think Respawn has gotten a little better at it these days
Unfortunately yes but base on my experience the occurrence is only high on bronze and dia lobbies
What team was it that Astel 1v3'd?
It's Himawari's team.
In the house were gorilla's and ririmu's team, there were also matsuri's
god this is why I can't stop playing apex. The nonstop onslaught of third parties and surviving them is such an andrenaline rush
Day 3 clips incoming?
Would you upload kurumi noah's match too? She's also genius
i think astel should take out all those armors in the boxes, so he can swap in case other teams taking his house
I need pov from another team...
Apex spectator mode was doing shit they showning another team not the team that kills you
Then watch their stream

Here
they even got a coach during game? thats some hardcore stuff
It's standard to have a coach during tourney lol. Every team except for Startend has a coach
@@domi8499 yeah. i dont really watch these tourneys so didnt know but most algs teams dont have coaches during games so thought it was unusual
@@SaltySalman Astel's team definitely needs direct coaching from Mondo as they still made quite a number of mistakes.
He only time you can't have a coach during games is during the official games. Right now we're only on the 3rd day of scrims
@@SaltySalman they switching on off coach during scrim. If you watch other pov, they do this too. Because they still making number of mistakes and need to learn. there’ll be no coach during real tourney
Am I wrong to find it weird that Astel didn’t once say thanks or anything while they were complementing him so much?
Its not really weird since astel is focusing more and the fight was intense its pretty normal since astel was focusing on the game and getting in the zone.
If you're not familiar with him, he's usually very hyper-focused during battles like this (and playing MM does require more of his focus from what i've seen, which is why you can see he went pretty much silent after Kotone and Rene got KO'd).
And I think if he was to go out of his way to thank them mid-battle we wouldn't have seen this god-ish play (ww).
He's also quick to get embarrassed when people compliment him from what I know, so there's that too maybe.
(To add: iirc he even told the girls that he went quiet because he was focusing on the battle and not upset at them (which they were a bit worried if he was? i think) )
he was just trying to focus on the match. Even mondo became silent so that Astel's concentration wouldn't break
If you watched most of his clutch clips he tends to be super quiet when he's in the zone. Btw he thank them after that match when he remembered to breathe oxygen again
Here's an example: ruclips.net/video/yR_FHNOSX7A/видео.html
Also most of Japanese people will not thanking if get complements
which teams did he wipe out here?😭 that was crazy...im in awe
Vgorilla, matsuri, and ririmu team. And the one at the hill is ren
@@arase_mkv7741 i think Neoporte is also there too. I saw Fortissmo knocked by Astel. And Kuzuha team in that container/bus?(idk what its called) In front of the house.
@@arase_mkv7741 thank youuu
