Agree on the AF, it is spotty and Ihope they fix it with the SL3. Don't forget to mention the battery usage while filming goes FAST so have a few is a must. Great vid!
Regarding Manual focus , Have you tried adjusting the degree of lens rotation while using SL lenses? This camera is hands down a workhorse. It has saved me a number of times when my Red malfunctioned on set.
Omg didn’t know my sl2s had a usbc charging port on side. Thank you. Only wish I could run camera w dead battery with that port. Need that newly released dummy battery. Many thanks

No no build in stop animation :) Focus peaking is good but not the greatest. The viewfinder is one of the best out there though

No filmmaker ever uses autofocus in Cinema. Use focus peaking and manual lenses. Simple.
