I'm more intimidated by the CRM soldier. They didn't even flinch from those warning shots. Even when they raised their hand, it seemed still. Also, their helmet makes a Commonwealth soldier's helmet look sad. Black armor also seems more fitting for the zombie apocalypse.
It is hard to be afraid when you have 0 iq. Fuck even modern day cop patrol would have handled this situation successfully, such levels of incompetence make this scene not badass, but hilarious.

That's one of the first things you are taught. 2, by the time he got the barrel clear of his chest the soldier could have gotten a solid 10 shots into his chest at point blank range. Sure, it's a TV show - but if you know a darn thing about firearms it's very immersion breaking.
