Just want to say, Amik’s commitment to improving has been insane. People have been talking negatively about him for a while, but the man has clearly put in the work and has really become a special piece of this defense.
Bro SERIOUSLY. He is turning into our best corner. Right now it’s easily Hobbs, but I’m starting to think it’s Amik.
I certainly remember seeing Amik flashed in college because I used to bet frequently on a lot of C-USA games, including LTech games. When we drafted him, I was really intrigued because I did not expect Mayock to notice what I saw. I began rooting for him more based on familiarity. I'm so glad that he's starting to thrive again after moments of uncertainty, especially when some of our fans have started to doubt if he will make week 1 cut, year after year. I hope this new regime continues to harness the best out of Amik and everyone else.
IMO Amik is feast or famine. He’s made some big plays but he’s also been getting burned at times. Still though I agree he’s a crucial part of our defense.
Man amik isn’t going away without a fight! Gotta love it! Hope we don’t make a mistake and lose this guy too 😢

Man I remember sitting behind the raiders sideline at sofi and there was no energy whatsoever. If anything they just looked like they were there to play another game. AP has that sideline energized all 60 minutes. Love to see it. Hope coach can turn this around!

His roots, upbringing, triumphs and failures make him the perfect man for this role on this day for this group of players. I wish him and this team nothing but the best and continued success.
