This style lacing looks very nice.
However, it is very inefficient in time taken.
A simple half hitch or a simple loop lace job will suffice.
A good dip with quality varnish and a sufficient
bake out would be more than adequate.
No one is going to see it again until it comes back for bearings
    or a rewind.

The thread I used here is plastic. This is only for demostration. Thanks

@@aalaworks what materials can I use for stator lacings? Such as those readily available in a DIY situation without having to order from a supplier. Any ideas? I'm restoring an antique motor and I'm currently at the point where I will need to re-lace the stator windings. Very thorough video, BTW. Thanks!

If you plan to lace with readly available materials, I prefer cotton threads best. Or you can use nylon threads also. Thanks 👍

@@aalaworks do you think a shoe lace would work? After re-lacing, I will be applying the insulation varnish.

In my own knowledge shoe lace very sensitive to heat. But you kow some motors normal working temp above 60 Celsius.. I am not prescribe shoe lace material... Thanks.. Please subscribe my channel.. Just to encourage me

It's looking like so hard, and looking loose threading on winding, nice try.
