Microsoft provides enhanced security through options like the Microsoft Account, similar to macOS. If you've used macOS before, you may know that macOS doesn't use keys like Microsoft for activating the entire operating system. Instead, Apple activates their customers' personal OS using Apple ID, similar to Microsoft Account, ensuring security. Just as you create a Google account for using ChromeOS and Android, or an Apple ID for iOS and macOS, why not create a Microsoft account for using the Windows operating system? By doing so, the security advantages are for us, not just the company. It's surprising why people are still unaware in our AI-driven era (2024)!.
So the points I shared, do u disagree with that. If yes, then why pls explain.
I only told my reasons why i prefer going with a local account. It doesn't mean local accounts are third party services. You can get security with local account as well. You need to understand that organizations prefer to grab customer more and more details.
@@technouplift agree. Hi, i was a old Win 98 to Win 11 Pro user. I too used local account on windows 11 Pro and to activate we have to buy a key. Google and Apple doesn't need any key to activate account. The point here is if we use any OS on our Assembled PC then the hardware belongs to the users not the company that owns the OS as of MS situation. Therefore Google and Apple are device based OS. So the company can do what right for there consumers and OS. To use or not to use a MS account is ones choice itself. I prefer being anonymous and private as much as possible on Windows OS. So we go with local account (no MS account) and get all the benefits as much as possible. And have the freedom to choose what i want not what MS serves to me by force. That enhanced security comes with a price and that's your data which then belongs to MS. If one feels ok to share everything with MS and privacy is not the concern then GO for it. BTW now i am a proud Linux user. So everything now belongs to me. My settings, my choice is my responsibility.
